Overview

You can participate in a wide range of activities or just relax and soak up the sun in the tranquil tropical atmosphere. Enjoy the crystal clear waters, fine dining, a Spa or dance barefoot under the stars to the gentle sounds of live Fijian music.

You will never be short of things to do, with a low tide golf course, Spa, fishing, sailing, superb snorkeling and scuba diving, or lazing under a palm tree by the pool. You can be as energetic or as relaxed as you like.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   You'll both love and hate this island. You'll love the employees and the island (no mosquitoes!). You'll love their music, the sound their broom makes sweeping, and, most importantly, you'll love their hearts and you'll want to memorize each of their smiles and the smiles they put on your girls' faces. But you'll hate the self important one. Even though they swap out. They are so important that they'll swoop into your dinner table and into your afternoon cocktails--again and again and again. And, even though you are starving, you'll find yourself wanting to skip meals, so they stop wrecking your vibe with their lonely lost selves. You won't care about their stories; no one does. But, in the moments they aren't there, you'll share stories and music and smiles and the tears rolling down your daughters' cheeks when they say goodbye to Massi will make having endured the important one worthwhile.

Review:   My wife and I married on Toberua Island many years ago but the memories will last a lifetime that’s for sure. It’s a unique little island and it was just so special. I love that they plant a tree on your behalf when you marry on the island with a small plaque and I was so nice that a few years after our visit I enquired about tree and they sent a photo of the thriving tree complete with our plaque still in place. A word of warning, their are snakes on the island but I never found them aggressive and shouldn’t put you off a visit.

Review:   You got your private island (with 15 other bures), great views, good food and a staff that will make you feel at home. What more can you need??? Activities... You can snorkel on the reef leaving from the beach, scuba dive, paddle surf, kayak, fishing,... you're still reading this???

Review:   20+ visits and my wedding - I'll be back for more for sure. My favourite island resort in the world. It's the staff and the connection to the two local villages that make the island what it is... I love Toberua from the bottom of my heart.

Review:   It's in my top 3 of hotel resorts. Beautiful island, cabana's or "bures" that open to the beach, which is in and of itself beautiful, gorgeous, calming and great for snorkeling, the most friendly, accommodating staff you will ever encounter, great meals, especially out of this world seafood meals made from local fishes and produce. It's more for a quiet, romantic kind of traveler, like me, than those who go to Club Med or Sandals.
