Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Spent our honeymoon at this resort! Went there planning on staying for 6 nights and decided to stay another 6 nights. Luxury Villa is amazing with all the privacy and luxury you could hope for. Tree top bure 12 is most private with an amazing view! Was very quiet in February as well. The adjoining Blue Lagoon beach is postcard perfect! Food is a little overpriced... The staff was amazing, they took us fishing, on a school visit, church service, sunset cruise, and the caves! Overall service was top notch. Thanks, Saki! ☺

Review:   An absolutely incredible place, with amazing views and even better staff. Sadly, this is somewhat tainted by the owners business style, which leaves you feeling short changed. Pros: -Staff are amazing and lead by incredible managers, who show a genuine interest in their customers and a willingness to go out of their way to help and support you. (The staff are the main reason for the higher star rating, which would have been far lower, had they not been so incredible.) - Views both of and in the amazing waters of Fiji -Free 10 minute foot massage. Cons: EVERYTHING HAS A COST: I would have passed this off as island life, had I not visited other resorts in the area. - Breakfast was included in our room cost but was limited to toast, fruit and coffee. Want some eggs or any other protein? another $8. How about some WiFi? Another $80 for 24hrs. Sunset tour? $60. Friday night they also have a buffet which cost $100 and was finished after the first passing. This you sign up for but with their restaurant being the only place to get food on the island is basically compulsory. Lunch time and dinner meals are tasty and of a decent size but usually cost upwards of $50. Everything thing listed above including the buffet was included in our next resorts cost of $100 per day (breakfast, Lunch and dinner) this resort also had a buffet dinner one night and far better breakfast. The cost of this resort is one of the reasons I was left with such a sour taste on leaving. If your guests are paying 3-4 times more than other resorts in the area, surely little details mentioned above such as WiFi and decent breakfasts could be included?
