Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Absolutely loved the apartment! It was very well maintained and fully functional. We may not of got one of the best views but for the price I paid it was more than satisfying. It had private parking which was hugely convenient and is only a short 3 minutes drive from the Airlie Beach center. The pool was great and kept very clean, just wish it was heated in winter. If I could I'd live in one of these apartments, very nice.

Review:   Well appointed apartments with waterfront views, great front desk service and not too noisy, easy access to cafes and services.

Review:   Great apartments with heaps of space, friendly & helpful staff, FABULOUS views! Bit of a distance to walk to restaurants but plenty of taxis nearby. The only downside would be the ensuite door didn't line up to the wall so couldn't lock & the wardrobe door infront of the ensuite locked us in.

Review:   A disappointing stay at Marina Shores. If booking an ocean view room, insist on having the view to the north, which is the one shown on the website, and not the view from a small number of rooms across the driveway entrance, garbage bins, carpark, and road over to a portion of the Marina - yes it’s accurately a water view, but not what was expected and is unfortunately the same price as the north facing apartments that have a spectacular view and a tranquil setting. The rooms facing East are not private - you hear and see every bus and car that enters and leaves the apartments, and being near the lift and stair case, every person entering this level walks past the dark and noisey bedrooms positioned on the walkway. While the apartment is spacious, it is not well provisioned, with no replenishing of toiletries or the meagre tea and coffee provisions. If you don’t have a car, it is inconvenient and expensive to have to catch a taxi into town or to the supermarket to collect the basics. I’m sure if we were allocated a room that met expections from the details and pictures on the website and the price we paid, we could overlook some of the other short comings of the apartment. This was not value for money.
