Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   My Husband and I recently had our wedding with Hunter Valley Resort. The staff went over and above to make our day so so special! Leading up to the big day we had so much communication and it put my mind at ease! We had such an amazing wedding but it would not have been possible without the staff! They went over and above to have us feel so so special! And the food!! All of the guest were so impressed! And we have a Maori family! If you are wondering if this is a great place for weddings! Then the answer is YES!! Thank you to all the staff at the Resort! Phil,Kylie and Alarna and the team! Just so so so awesome!

Review:   Worth the money. All facilities included like a proper apartment. Dryer, washing machine, all kitchen utensils. Just buy your own cooking oil etc if you wish to cook but there are beautiful restaurants in the hunter too. Bed was amazing!! Locked garage too and swimming pool.

Review:   It really is just OK! They have a nice beer selection and average hotel food. An ideal place for big groups to take a break from wine tasting. It is child friendly. We wouldn't rush back as there are other cleaner and friendlier options in the hunter when taking a break from wine tasting.

Review:   Great bang for your buck here. We travelled from Sydney central station to singleton and they had a shuttle pick us up to the resort. Accommodations were Nice, even had a wild kangaroo venture through our backyard. Wine tasting was great you can virtually try anything you would like. They have a beer tap on site also with about 12 different choices. Happy hour is reasonable and runs from 4 to 6pm. Food at the restaurant was great. The tap drinking water is terrible. All in all we had a great experience and would highly recommend it to anybody.

Review:   Very nice place, especially if you are into the whole wine thing. They have a winery, and a free tour, and wine lesson with tasting if you stay. It was my first lesson about making wine, but it gave me all information needed for a day of wine tasting that has followed ;) They have cellar doors for a few smaller wineries. And they are proud opponents of corks and can provide all the reasons why. If you want to talk more mention Chardonnay (apparently Aussies have problems with it) The place have also a restaurant, craft beer place, swimming pool and others. Breakfast not included in price. Rooms are cosy, views are amazing.
