Overview

Positioned on the absolute ocean front and just a short stroll via seaside boardwalk to the enchanting Airlie Beach resort village; with its relaxed atmosphere and collection of eclectic shops and cafes; lies the Coral Sea Resort, your Airlie Beach Accommodation. A stroll in the opposite direction crossing a separate boardwalk with the sea below is Abel Point Marina, your direct access to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.

Whitsundays accommodation at Coral Sea Resort is comprised of a range of hotel suites, superior apartments and luxury penthouses. All our Whitsundays accommodation is serviced daily with the full range of facilities and inclusions expected of a boutique hotel of this quality and standard.

There is a uniquely nautical feeling in each of the spacious suites and penthouses, which reflect on the wonderful yachting heritage of the Whitsundays. Soft nautical colours, historic boating prints, polished timber and yachting memorabilia adorn many of the Resort's rooms and dining areas complete our superior Whitsundays accommodation. The adjoining marina, linked by a boardwalk to the Resort, offers those with salt in their veins a chance to wander through the amazing array of charter yachts and luxury vessels to work off breakfast, lunch or dinner, indulged in at our award-winning restaurant.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The best hotel ever! Nicest sleep ive ever had on the comfiest bed ever. Staff were very considerate and helpful. Pool was great and jacuzzi in the hotel room was amazing. One of my favourite things about going to Australia was this hotel and the area! Breakfast was very nice too. Staff down at the reception helped us to get to know the area and were very helpful in booking things that they suggested!!

Review:   Coral Sea Resort. Room comfortable but old. Only one single lounge chair in room. Bed sheets not changed daily. Tropical breakfast not worth the money nor the name tropical. Hotel is in a good location a short walk to town. Staff friendly and place is kept clean.

Review:   Fantastic. While we didn't stay at the resort, we went to Clippers restaurant for dinner. Attentive service from our waiter Fabio. Beautiful surrounds, perfect lighting. We had a five course tasting menu with pairing wines, allowing us to experience lots of new flavour combinations. Next time we'll visit in daylight hours to enjoy the view as well as the food, service and atmosphere.

Review:   Best hotel in the Whitsundays by a long shot. The resort is located on the outermost tip of Airlie Beach right on the ocean shore with views to die for. Its location feels secluded although with its own private boardwalk your only minutes from the town centre should you want to explore . For my stay Coral Sea lived up to the hype with faultless attention to detail . The staff, the service, the food, the pool, the room, the private balcony spa in the room, the bedding, the grounds all 10/10.

Review:   The staff are brilliant, the room spectacular. Be aware they hire the place out for weddings and you can't hold a conversation in your room with your wife due to noise. Not worth $200 for the night. "Free' wifi is so slow my phone works better without it.
