Rise to the perfectly natural and breathtaking experience of the Viceroy Bali, the ultimate hideaway where the utmost in peace, privacy and relaxation are unparalleled.

Located in a valley reputed for its gorgeous views, imagine yourself in this sanctuary, an absolute paradise caressed by the gentle rhythm and colorful texture of Bali at every glance. Each of its 25 well-appointed villas are set amongst traveler palms and lush vegetation, accommodation suited for royalty yet relaxed and intimate and appreciated by couples, families and small groups all seeking the common pursuit of a divine holiday.

The ultra-luxury Viceroy Bali resort and spa consists of 25-villas majestically situated on a secluded ridge of the Petanu River gorge along Bali's "Valley of the Kings," an appellation given by locals for the generations of Balinese royalty who have resided in nearby villages. The resort is also well known by sophisticated international travellers as one of the world's secret tropical hideaways and respected by its many repeat guests as a destination that places emphasis on the best of privacy and comfort.

Villas are generously appointed with the latest electronic amenities, espresso machines, king size beds, as well as private pools and relaxing outdoor spaces each with stunning valley views. Guests also appreciate the impeccable service and standards and peerless public facilities including the feted restaurant and bar, Cascades, and opulent spa and beauty centre, Lembah, both with breathtaking vistas.

In addition, the property offers its guests a complete and modern gymnasium, valley-top infinity pool and library with a yoga pavilion and tennis centre scheduled for completion by late 2011. The Viceroy Bali is located within minutes from Ubud, one of S.E Asia's most charming villages, with its leisurely pace and eccentric air, bric-a-brac shops, curious galleries and quaint restaurants. Ensuring the guest experience goes without fault, the resort is meticulously presided over by an Australian family who understand the many needs of its international guests.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   An amazing hotel, incredible views in the tropical lush rainforest and the wonderful warm hospitality of the staff! The food is amazing particularly the breakfast- you must try the coconut French toast! The staff are wonderful and always happy to help. Special thanks to Made and Chess our wonderful guides who took us to explore the nearby surroundings. Would recommend to all!

Review:   An absolutely stunning hotel. The accommodation was amazing, especially the high level of finishes and the villa was extremely spacious. The private pool was breathtaking with views of the forest. We even had a visit from a family of local monkeys. I thought the daily fresh fruit a lovely touch. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. The massage was one of the best I have ever experienced. The restaurant offered numerous options that were delicious. The staff and managers were extremely professional, approachable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Viceroy for those wanting a zen holiday in paradise.

Review:   Absolutely beautiful hotel with a beautiful and nice staff. Gorgeous view at breakfast overlooking the jungle. We had a personal pool outside our sliding doors with view of the same jungle. Couldn't consider another place if/when we return. 6/5 stars

Review:   Beautiful location, great breakfast and superb service. Quite unique in a lot of ways, it's right by rice terraces (not the famous ones where tourists go), high on a hill that you can see Mt. Agung on a clear day, watch monkeys jump from tree to tree while having breakfast. Golf cart service to/from room, and shuttle to Ubud is super convenient. Beautiful room, warm pool is a very thoughtful idea. Very well maintained property overall, what we didn't like: (1) full marble floor in the room that made conditions slippery and unsafe (2) smell in the room, not sure if that was due to mold or cleaning detergent (3) concierge didn't seem knowledgeable about tourist attractions, or have a structured way to guide us on attractions nearby (4) ants in the room - granted it's Bali-wide issue but considering other 5 star hotels in the region has fixed this, it could be improved here as well. All that said, would highly recommend and go back again.

Review:   Incredible place. The villas are stunning, the staff are the friendliest people we've ever met. The food is a great balance between tasty local food and worldwide. We were absolutely gutted to leave.
