The Reef View Hotel's Garden View rooms are framed by the cool green palms of Hamilton Island's tropical gardens. Garden View rooms cost a little less but that doesn't mean they lack amenities, features or comfort. On floors 1 to 4 of the Reef View Hamilton Island, their views are leafy and some rooms offer Coral Sea glimpses. There's plenty of space to relax in a generously proportioned Garden View room.

The Reef View Hotel's Garden View rooms have two queen-size beds and the modern décor features muted relaxing tones. Each Garden View room has a bathroom with separate bath and shower, and a private balcony with patio seating for sunset drinks from the mini bar. The flat-screen TV has pay-to-view movies, internet access is available and each room has individually controlled air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

The Reef View Hotel has many amenities, including a 35-metre swimming pool, the Reef Lounge bar, and in-house Pool Terrace Restaurant serving buffet breakfast, light lunches and à la carte dinner menu. Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Excellent hotel with magnificent views! It surely felt like Paradise! Watching the sunrise and sunset everyday was spectacular! My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much! The General Manager of the hotel surprised us with a bottle of Champagne already waiting in our room upon arrival as he knew it was our wedding anniversary! That was so very thoughtful and we are very appreciative!! The folks at the reception desk, porters, and servers at the Pool Restaurant were absolutely wonderful and very friendly! Joseph our waiter greeted us every morning at breakfast and was very hospitable. Room was spacious and very clean! A fantastic stay for sure and one we will forever cherish!! Thank you Reef View for a memorable holiday!! ----The Rehmans-USA.

Review:   Once upon a time, this probably was a super nice establishment. Now, it bears the hallmark of neglect, wear and tear. Even a simple thing such as cleaning the shower glass has not been performed. It does not look like it has been cleaned for a while. When something as simple as this is not done you start noticing other things as well, like the mildew on the wall and all the dust around the windows. The AC fan-bearing is worn and makes a gruesome noise, also the filters were dirty. Some of the ceiling LED lights are of a different color temperature. Worth to mention that the service and maintenance crew responded swiftly to fix the AC unit the next day. The place is old and worn. However, if you are here for the view, man are you going to be overwhelmed. It is an absolutely gorgeous view over the Hamilton Island reef. Most of the rooms higher up have this view. The beds are nice and the furniture is comfortable.

Review:   Friendly helpful staff, airport transfers and luggage taken direct to room for you. Rooms were clean, but can get stuffy as windows need to be shut (birds love to pay a visit) and no fly screens available. Green and Blue island buses run from directly out the front every 15-40 minutes. Family friendly with a decent breakfast variety. One of the cheaper accommodation on the island, but make sure you check your room account properly on checkout to avoid extra costs.

Review:   After reading some of the Google reviews on Reef View, I was tentative to stay here; however, I couldn’t have been more pleased by this stunning hotel and its staff members. The room was spacious, stylish and clean. The hotel staff are every where and are always happy to help. However, the best aspect for us was the water activities included within the price. This includes Kayla, standup paddle boards, wind surf, snorkel gear and small catamarans. This touch was exactly what adventurers could ask for on a relaxing island, plus is great for families too! There are a number of amazing pools and restaurants to visit. I cannot wait to go back to Reef View!

Review:   This was likely the first hotel built on the island. Architecture is a little dated but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. We also ate at the restaurant below which was good. My husband and I booked our stay on the island last minute and because of that we stayed at 3 different hotels during our vacation, Reef View, Whitsunday Apartments and Beach Club. This was the cheapest and was well worth the expense. I have attached images from our room, this was a 'partial garden/ocean view' which made it cheaper. In the US this would just be ocean view and twice the price. So when booking consider that. You can get an ocean view for garden room prices :)
