Overview

Qualia (pronounced kwah-lee-ah) in Latin means "a collection of deeper sensory experiences". A byword for Hamilton Island luxury, Qualia is situated on the secluded northern-most tip of Hamilton Island surrounded by all the splendour of the Great Barrier Reef. With a relaxed aspect and mesmerizing calmness, time seems to stretch forever.

Qualia's distinctive style combined with it's sun-drenched location and intuitive service makes it a luxurious resort by global standards. It's a truly special place where everything has been meticulously considered to relax the mind and completely spoil the senses.

Fifty-nine one-bedroom Windward or Leeward Pavilions blend harmoniously with the natural beauty of the island and provide an indulgent space to unwind. The 60th Pavilion is the ultimate luxury and privacy of the 2-bedroom Qualia Beach House, with its own guest quarters, lap pool and breathtaking views. A private and exclusive haven in the Whitsundays, Qualia Hamilton Island has every facility you could wish for including two infinity-edge swimming pools, a library, two restaurants, a private gym and quintessential Australian treatments at Spa Qualia.

In Australia luxury accommodation is synonymous with Qualia.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   6 days of excellence!! Food, service and views were great However we did like the restaurants outside the hotel better. Especially Mariners on the balcony for seafood and steak. Brilliant breakfast though ❤️

Review:   From arrival to departure on Hamilton Island, Qualia had outstanding service. The rooms had a spectacular view, the room was impeccable, clean, tidy and well presented, the staff were very accommodating to our needs and wants, I loved the landscape and garden areas, range of plants. The dining was superb and high standards. Would recommend and choose to stay again. Thank you to the staff I was able to interact with.

Review:   Amazing destination with beautifully kept grounds. Very secluded and tranquil where it is separate from the rest of the island. All the staff are extremely accommodating and the apartments are just magnificent.

Review:   We visited the Long Pavilion at qualia for dinner while staying on Hamilton Island. Service was average and the food was mediocre at best. Certainly not a "6-star" experience as they claim it to be. Beautiful setting but did not live up the hype or our expectations. We ordered the seafood plate to share. ($170) half of the seafood was deep fried.. which was extremely dissapointing. Nothing was local.. presentation was average with a pile of lettuce tossed in the middle. If you want a good dining experience on Hamilton Island try Bommie at the yacht club.

Review:   Cannot overstate how incredible this place is. Every single detail of your stay is looked after from a welcoming arrival to the very best food and accommodations. And each staff member took the time to remember our names and have a conversation with us. This is a truly special place.
