Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Location is fantastic. Within easy walking distance from Four mile beach (which is stunning) Resort it's self is very nice indeed. The apartment we were in could have done with a bit of freshening up but was clean and well equipped. Staff on reception were a little abrupt upon check in and not very informative but were good at their jobs. Subsequent requests for information etc. We're handled efficiently. The included breakfast was very good indeed and when we dined in the restaurant at night the quality of the service and food were superb. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Review:   We were moved from our first apartment due to a minor issue and staff handled it very quickly and professionally. Facilities are excellent as is the on site restaurant and bar. Breakfast buffet is fine but staff seem overwhelmed at times with the work. The pools are great for the kids and parents alike.

Review:   Well priced resort a 20 minute walk from Port Douglas. The rooms are a bit dark but I if staying there I would recommend spending your time by the pool which the kids loved. Included breakfast is just ok.

Review:   Food was ok I guess. The rooms were quite dated and felt unclean. The movie was too noisy at night and the toilet kept making noises at night. The bed was uncomfortable and there was cockroaches on the bench and floor. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool was awesome and great temperature to swim.

Review:   We are really looking enjoying it here. The staff are helpful and friendly, the restaurant good and the units cleanand comfy. Good beds too. Great pools for the little one, and the continental breakfast buffet is generous.
