Bringing the resort's pervasive sense of style to new heights, additions to the rooms include a white marble tiled entryway, spacious walk-in showers for most rooms with a King sized bed and new shower bath combos for rooms with two Queen beds, all feature luxurious rain style showers. Bathrooms include marble countertops with double sink vanity and all the amenities of home. A granite top dry bar houses the safe and refrigerator and provides an area for coffee and tea making. The addition of an audio-visual jack pack makes charging electronic devices convenient and connecting to the television to view vacation pictures a breeze.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Really great place. It’s a huge hotel made for conferences and I’m giving it a five star for that type of hotel. I prefer a more intimate 5star hotel if I’m on vacation. Everyone was great for the conference I was at last week. They were extremely attentive and went overboard to take care of everyone. The food at the restaurants was too notch. I would have a hard time finding a better hotel for such a large event. (We had 400 rooms I think)

Review:   Absolutely gorgeous resort property with many relaxing pools and beautiful views. There were plenty of comfortable lounge chairs poolside with a lot of provided shade. Room was amazing with very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Only thing I would wish for would be more happy hour specials but we were greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne for our honeymoon which was a really nice touch!! Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Review:   Truly gorgeous resort. Never felt over crowded. Everyone who worked there was incredibly kind and helpful. The lava rock showers in the spa were awesome! Would definitely recommend staying here

Review:   TL;DR Nice but overpriced. Has nice pools, you can spend plenty of time there. Very nice beach next to them, a little hike you can enjoy, and a huge property overall. Has a lot of included (free) activities on the property, fitness classes, ukulele lessons, etc. Food was average to bad, and about 2-3x higher than outside of the hotel. Don't go to their $35 breakfast buffet, it was bad. Make sure to rent a car, and get out for meals and other island activities. Their drinks at night were good. I was departing late in the evening, they let me use the pool all day long, and then through hospitality services gave me a room to shower and change. Very nice service! Ask at the reception for it.

Review:   If you are looking for a romantic getaway, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort should be on your list of choices. The grounds are beautiful, the views at Tidepools is breathtaking, the food is amazing morning and night, the service is top notch, and there's nothing not to love. The trails around the pool are a bit slippery so be careful, but a good pair of sandals solves that. The AC went out in our unit and they repaired it within an hour which is incredible. We loved it. A perfect place for a honeymoon or anniversary celebration.
