Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Excellent room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, washing machine, dryer with full air con. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely pool and pool bar. Receptionists were great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Open and friendly bar area. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit the area and the Great Barrier Reef.

Review:   Overall we had an amazing stay! My partner and I were amazed upon our arrival, the feel and vibe is relaxed yet bright and maintained to perfection. As we stayed in the cooler months, the only addition to the hotel which would have made it 11/10 would have been a spa for when the pool was a little too cold! Would definitely stay again.

Review:   QT – trendy hotel – customer service good – accuracy not so A really trendy boutique hotel with a lovely pool and a live singer on a Sunday. Unfortunately whilst the staff are really friendly and great, the accuracy of some things leave a lot to be desired. Instances included my daughter needing a room with a bath (disability) – had then to move from her assigned room as it only had a shower. Daughter ordered gluten free food, ate it believing it to be so, only to have her order brought out (they had brought her someone else’s!) – a few medical problems – which could have been very serious to someone else followed – this is really not good and could have had terrible consequences. That said, the rooms are beautiful, the views really neat and a great place if they can just get their act together.

Review:   Tired interior. Appalling food and simply poor service. It appears that the staff all lack any form of direction. There seems to be a great number of very young staff around but one one seems to be providing any direction. Simple things lime no forks on the table at breakfast. 45 minute wait for coffee with me having to get up to follow it up. Unclean, over priced and over rated. I could do a better job and whip this place into shape. Honestly its the worst place I have stayed to date. Get it together you could be great.

Review:   Nice bar and restaurant. Good location. Easy to pick up a shuttle to get to town. The wifi isn't great and some of the facilities could use some updating. Overall very nice though and a fun spot.
