Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   My stay has been wonderful so far. The staff are friendly and accommodating to requests. The location is superb being near all the shops and across from the beach. My room has a wonderful city view and is clean and modern with most conveniences. The elevators can be somewhat slow but it's fine if you're enjoying a vacay and not trying you rush everywhere. A great place to stay in Waikiki.

Review:   I don’t know why, but I love Hyatt properties for staying anywhere I go. This particular Hyatt on the shores of Waikiki is really fascinating. I stayed here for a couple of nights last year during my daddy’s business trip and had had a really pleasant stay. The management do care about minute aspects and the staff are very friendly and courteous. The staff on the Club floor were really amazing. I would most definitely like to go back there again and again. Their food is the best

Review:   Very rude staff. I’m a bilingual, but look like a typical Japanese tourist. One hotel staff is extremely unfriendly. When I tried to ask the staff, he ignored me! pretending to be busy with some other work. I can’t believe this is Hyatt. Also, when my wife was explaining she was scheduled to meet her friend at the hotel entrance, the staff’s attitude was horrible. He stares at her with doubt face, and only asks her, “name?”. Where is Aloha spirit!? Why can he treat customers who pay money so badly??? Zero star, actually.

Review:   Rooms were very clean and upscale. Free upgrade treated us to a ocean view room. Pets also allowed which is a big plus. Great location too. Highly recommended.

Review:   We stayed over night for a short friends Christmas get together. Although I haven't been there in years, I was happy to see that the rooms were renovated very nicely. Very modern, bright and spacious rooms. The pool was small, but nice. The lobby and overall set up takes a bit of walking around, but it's hard to beat the hotel location right across the street from the beach. The restaurants look good, but we didn't eat there. They have a gym and spa as well. Parking structure is across the street and tight getting around. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and would return again.
