About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This is a very nice hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed the large breakfast buffet every morning but it gets very busy by 9AM so I would recommend you start your days early. Staff was very helpful and our room was wonderfully serviced every day while we were out and everything we used was refilled regularly. The pool is a bit small for such a large hotel but the beach is right across the street and the bar / restaurant poolside was very convenient. We had an amazing view of the beach and city from our room on the 20th floor. Shopping was abundant right in the lobby and it is close to many great food choices. This hotel made a great first impression on our time to Hawaii

Review:   Nice hotel, a little bit old and require some renovation but may be that’s why it has unique character. There is huge territory and a lot of amenities. Plenty of options to eat and drink. Nice parrots in the lobby and atrium. The pool is not that big but the ocean just across the street so you can take a beach chair and towels from the hotel. Nice Chinese restaurant downstairs. A lot of shops with souvenirs, clothing and everything you need during your vacation. The location is perfect it’s situated just in the heart of Waikiki so everything is in walking distance. The room are spacious and clean. Bathrooms have Japanese toilets with washing/drying functions what is very nice.

Review:   My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa during our recent honeymoon to Oahu. The location of the hotel was perfect, the beach was right across the road and there were plenty of places to shop and eat within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean and the self-parking option was convenient as well; and, it was never difficult to find a parking place. From the staff member that checked us in to the staff members running the hotel breakfast buffet, we can’t say enough about how friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the area they all were.

Review:   Definitely a nice place to stay. Fantastic location very close to lots of shopping. The hotel is quiet and each room is very spacious. Beds are so so but the view is amazing. Each floor has an ice and water machine which is a huge plus. Will stay here again.

Review:   Great hotel. Pretty good access to beach for crowded Waikiki. Room very nice. Price was fair. Pool staff loans out beach chairs and towels for off premises use as a courtesy. Everything is close by this location. Staff is very friendly. Only negative is small size of pool for such a large facility.
