About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We had lunch here a few times and the food was so delicious, we kept coming back. The produce was so fresh and the food was cooked perfectly. The pool area was incredible and the kids loved the spa area. The location is the only concern as you need transport to get into town. This is a special place and ideal for families.

Review:   This place is the bomb. The amenities are terrific. Whether you stay with the hotel or use the VRBO option, you get a gorgeous place to enjoy with a lagoon steps outside your balcony or deck. The pool is beautiful and the swim-up bar (when it's open!) Is super fun. Get there early so you can see where you are going. My girl and I arrived at night and see a damn thing so it was a bit like feeling your way about. When we woke up, WOW! PARADISE! It's great for families or couples just the same. You will love this place.

Review:   A lovely resort. The location for us was a little bit to far out of the main hub. If it was located closer to town we would stay again. It was hard with children not being able to pop down easily to shops etc. The pools are fantastic and excellent set up for children. I see it more as a family resort. We stayed in room 128 which is a great location for little children as the water is shallow. Being honest the food is not up to a 5 star experience - breakfast each morning was excellent however apart from that everything else was pretty average at the restaurant. We had room service a couple of times & each time it took a couple of days for tray/dishes to be collected even though staff would walk past & see it sitting outside. Maintenance and a clean up of gardens/resort is needed for it to be rated 5 star, also the apartments in my opinion are not 5 star at all. Two of the restaurant staff at breakfast were fantastic along with the pool bar man however many others seemed unmotivated and almost a hassle if we asked anything. House keeping were EXCELLENT. A lovely holiday with our family. Prices are also a tad excessive for the swim out rooms however it was great to have.

Review:   Just had lunch at Sea Temple Port Douglas, in a word horrible, service so slow I had to go up and ask someone to come and take our order. I had a Green Chicken Curry, looked like Kermit frog pureed in a bowl and tasted like it too, telling the staff got no response. On a high note Sea Temple Palm Cove is outstanding in food and service

Review:   Wonderful resort with a massive central pool for the entire resort to enjoy. Breakfast buffet was well presented and all the staff knew how to make a good espresso coffee. Some mango and banana would have been a welcomed addition to the fruit selection. We were well looked after by all staff and definitely look forward to returning!
