Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely and the grounds quite nice. The apartment was huge and the whole place definitely had character that most places don't. Would have been 5 stars if the gym was functional. If you go here you have to try the Chinese restaurant on site. We weren't expecting much but it was amazing food.

Review:   Looks like a great place. Just make sure what floor you are on, and if there is an elevator

Review:   Gated community with permanent residents and holiday accommodation. Large house that we stayed in almost as big as the one at home. Nice pool area, though had sand flies when we were there which was a shame.

Review:   The Lakes is a very well maintained, great resort. Parking inside the grounds for visitors, service personnel and emegency services is not great though.

Review:   The accommodation was very nice. However we stayed near the entrance and the speed bumps are very noisy, especially at night. Hardly slept on the Saturday night. Cars coming and going all night up until four in the morning. I finally got to sleep and then upstairs put on their washing machine or dishwasher. Also a lot of long term people stay there. Every morning at six someone would wake us up putting on their washing machine and slamming the door. I needed ear plugs to sleep there, otherwise I couldn't have stayed. I would not recommend this place, nor would I stay there again. The gym and sauna were also out of order. the place must need work as there were tradies there the whole time we were there.
