About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   Good position on the esplanade, the room is quite nice. Some minor detractors are that the AC had a whirring noise on medium or high setting and the toilet was running but luckily I couldn't hear that over the noisy AC. Staff are friendly and they put a microwave in the room when I asked for one. There's a coin laundry on floors 3 and 5 which is nice when you're in a hotel room without a washer and dryer. You get a free cookie on arrival. Can't complain.

Review:   We had a great time here! Great location to everything, very friendly staff and concierge! While the rooms were a bit on the small side and the bathrooms tiny, we still enjoyed our room overlooking the pool and ocean! There is onsite Landry mats that were great as well. The atrium breakfast was a bit blah and the water tasted a little funky. The pool was great however wasn't sure how to get a pool towels, didn't see a sign or a stand with them. Might need to ask reception! Overall great spot!

Review:   Good Hotel although below typical Hilton standards. Rooms are relatively large but bathrooms quite small. Breakfast buffet is very good with good quality and range. WiFi coverage seemed good and was fast. Location is good with short walk to main restaurant and tourist area. The air conditioner fan automatically drops to low when the door is opened meaning that the room gets quite hot while away which is a bit annoying for a higher priced hotel. Air con also seems to stop working at some times meaning humidity and temp does increase overnight which was somewhat uncomfortable and for this reason I would not recommend staying at this hotel during summer.. I did receive a room upgrade and free breakfast based on Hilton Honors membership which was good. The Hilton is sometimes cheaper and so would suggest staying there rather than Doubletree.

Review:   Great loaction but small small rooms/bathroom. The stay we had was nice here, they have guest laundry where you can do your own!! We had a room that faced the ocean which was wonderful, we had a balcony as well. The beds were decent and the pillows had no support per usual. The bathrooms were tiny with barely room to stand with the door open. The guest services staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was great however I didn't know where to find the pool towels, I saw a few ppl with them but couldn't figure out where to grab out.
