Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   I stay here regularly while in Melbourne on business and it's become a bit of a home away from home. The experience is pleasant and consistent. The rooms are compact but adequately sized and perfect for business travelers. The bar has an interesting selection of Tasmanian whisky and room service is generally very good with a decent night-menu if you arrive from a late flight. Breakfast is in the restaurant downstairs and is normally well stocked and satisfying. I would love to see this place with a spa and sauna as being able to relax after a long journey would really complete the experience. Overall, this is a solid and consistently good choice of place to stay in the CBD.

Review:   Good hotel if you're just after somewhere to put your head. Booked for a twin room and had a queen room once we walked in so had to get that changed. The bathroom is very poky and the showerhead was permanently pointed towards the wall. If you're after somewhere in close proximity to everywhere though this is the place to go as it's close to Flinders St station and many tram stops.

Review:   Good location, staff were so accommodating. We got there early and were able to get early check at 9:30am (usual check in is 3pm) for $60. They also let us check out at midday and didn't charge us for the extra 2 hours parking that we went over time. Room was clean, only thing I didn't like was the sheets, it's usually alot softer at most hotels I've stayed in.
