Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We have stayed here before and found it a very comfortable hotel. This visit was made even more enjoyable following a knock on the door, and the presentation of a complimentary bottle of wine. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally well-trained and friendly. The breakfast experience was a fantastic way to start our day, and the location is hard to beat, especially if visiting by train. We shall return for sure.

Review:   It's not a bad place to stay. Beds are comfortable enough and the staff and friendly. If you are after something plush and luxurious this is not the place you're looking for but it's a hell of a lot nicer than a budget ibis or a formula 1.They have TV. Internet was free and the room was comfortable. Buffet breakfast looks really good. Worth scraping in at 4 stars.

Review:   I would leave a 3.5 rating if I could. The room was good, no complaints it was tidy and spacious. The bathroom however has a shower in the tub and the tub is so narrow to stand in (I'm 60kg 5'6") and really made you need to watch your balance as your feet slope up the sides of the bath. Breakfast wasn't great. Whilst an excellent selection of food the hot food was flavourless and over cooked. There were two windows in the room and neither had a view. One had a building directly in front and the other was frosted out. I would stay here again but I'd probably consider something on the other side of the river first.

Review:   My room was dark with a small window onto an alley way. No light at all. The wifi did not work and I had no mobile reception. It was basically a prison cell. To top it all off, the bathroom lights are on a sensor, and there’s no way to turn them off (I asked reception twice). So when you walk into the bathroom at night the whole bathroom lights up, waking my partner up. I left this hotel feeling absolutely exhausted.

Review:   Stayed there for a short work trip. Nothing could beat the location. Extremely convenient. The staff was great and accommodating. Special shout out to the reception staff! However missed one star with the room.. the bathroom was filthy and dirty. We requested for a clean up but it wasn't done. I took the sheets off myself as the covers were stained and not removed or replaced on request. I wish they did better there. The rooms are small and just had enough space to walk about. Bring your own toiletries.. (minus another star for the terrible shower!) I would think again before coming back.
