Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Very well priced and well located. The service here was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were simple and clean, bathrooms were as good as they needed to be. There are much nicer hotels and apartments in the area, but I'm not sure I'll find somewhere that is better value.

Review:   We did not stay at Travelodge Southbank but at Eureka Tower next door. On departure day it turns out that they don’t store luggage and we had to bridge 11h from check out time to departure time. Travelling overseas with a 3 and a 5yo we had plenty of luggage. Every parent will understand our situation i reckon. In desperation I asked Travelodge staff if they could help out in this emergency situation and they did. Super friendly and genuinely nice people. I offered to pay: not needed. I offered tip: answer was: all good. Don’t worry. This staff is an asset of this business. 5 Stars well deserved! They saved our day.

Review:   Great location on the South Bank Close to the river and bridges so you can walk over to the North side easily for the main street of Flinders. The hotel is clean and modern and provides a good place to relax and rest after exploring the Melbourne sights. Our room included microwave and fridge plus sink.

Review:   We enjoyed a very nice 3 night stay at this hotel from April 19-22. Great location, nice quiet room. This review would have been 5stars but I had the misfortune to leave my wallet in the room when we left. We notified the maid that we had left on the way out. I had no need of my wallet until the next day and immediately notified the hotel. We falled 3 separate times asking them to check the safe and call us back. On the 3rd occasion a very nice girl apologised that no one had called us back - she checked lost property while I was on the phone. Nothing found. Caution of the story is make sure you have everything when you leave.
