Overview

Stay at the riverside Crowne Plaza Melbourne hotel for business and leisure on the banks of the Yarra.

Crowne Plaza Melbourne is in the heart of the city's vibrant docklands. Our bright Lobby is alive with conversation and as you step to our Front Desk you'll know you're in good company. We'll take your bags if you want to sit back with a local microbrew in the Lobby Bar.

You're surrounded by restaurants on the Yarra's north bank, just over the bridge from the Crown Casino and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Crowne Plaza Melbourne is a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross rail station and a 2-minute stroll to the tramways for swift travel across the city. Taxis or our car service take 30 minutes from Melbourne Airport, while valets make parking easy.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Nice central location. Walking distance to fine dining and entertainment. The hotel was fine. Staff were friendly. The hotel car (a BMW) took me to the airport and it was comparable to a taxi.

Review:   It was very nice and the views were great. Its I'm a great location too. They had a continental breakfast but it wasn't free and the full buffet option was a bit pricey. But other than that those are my only complaints. If you need an American style power outlet there is a universal one in the bathroom. Also there are usb ports on the back of the alarm clock so you can change your phone without an adapter

Review:   Nice looking hotel. Not really clean. No in room free WiFi. Free movies which was nice. Good restaurant on site but the concierge sent us on a wild goose chase looking for a good seafood restaurant. Wonderful buffet breakfast.

Review:   I was in a refurbished room and they have done a wonderful job. The shower is luxurious and has a seat, the bed is comfortable, the mini bar is up high and looks snazzy and the chair at the side of the room is a longer one - perfect for putting your legs up and reading or computing. The front desk was helpful and the breakfast was a good hotel, buffet breakfast. It was all clean and lovely.

Review:   I enjoyed my stay here. It met expectations of a 4 star hotel and had all the necessary amenities for a business traveller. The staff were very polite and helpful even accommodating me on very short notice. Although it's a large hotel it didn't feel busy or crowded.
