Stay at the riverside Crowne Plaza Melbourne hotel for business and leisure on the banks of the Yarra.

Crowne Plaza Melbourne is in the heart of the city's vibrant docklands. Our bright Lobby is alive with conversation and as you step to our Front Desk you'll know you're in good company. We'll take your bags if you want to sit back with a local microbrew in the Lobby Bar.

You're surrounded by restaurants on the Yarra's north bank, just over the bridge from the Crown Casino and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Crowne Plaza Melbourne is a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross rail station and a 2-minute stroll to the tramways for swift travel across the city. Taxis or our car service take 30 minutes from Melbourne Airport, while valets make parking easy.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The staff here is awesome, so it pains me not to give more Stars. The rooms are always meticulously clean!!!!! But The rooms are tired. The pillows suck to the point where I bring my own pillow to avoid the neck ache. (My company chooses this hotel for me). Bathroom is tired and old. The work out room is tiny and very limited. The pool is weird. No steam room or sauna. Food/restaurant has limited hours. The bar is lame. There could be a beautiful view, but instead, it's like being in a conference room that they put some stuffed chairs in and then sprinkled in children from time to time. Children are free to hang out in the bar area and can run around and play games... Which I don't enjoy when I am at a bar. The breakfast is epic. The staff is epic. They get 5 stars!

Review:   When you enter, duck around to the left and find the lobby bar. You'll feel like you're staying at the hotel while you just have a coffee. It's a relaxed. Breakfast smorgasboard is nice at the restaurant downstairs.

Review:   This is pretty nice for a Crowne Plaza, however make sure to check on what layout and amenities there are in your room. You can have an awesome and well remodeled room next to one that is old and dingy. Get the river side room view, well worth it for the fire show flames from the Casino across the street.

Review:   Hotel is close to the exhibition Centre and great restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, great beds, older bathrooms and would have liked better view..

Review:   Clearly not a cheap option, but my experience was excellent. The resteraunt had some of the best steak I've had in a long time. The rooms were spotless and we'll equipped. But the biggest win here was the customer service, the best I've had at any hotel in years. I came down for a work conference but would come back but would stay personally.
