Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We've stayed twice now and enjoyed it very much each time. Our first visit was upset with a cleaning issue, but the reception staff were very quick to respond and deal with the situation and management also stepped in to ensure we felt heard and that the issue was resolved. This is how you do customer service - nothing goes 100% perfectly 100% of the time, its how it is dealt with that matters. The hotel itself is beautiful and we just love the art deco vibe. TV in room had been upgraded this trip, with the ability to spin out and face the bed - well done on this, its heaps better. Breakfast is amazing, unfortunately we haven't tried Radii for an evening meal yet as we've had other plans each time, but can't wait to eat there next visit.

Review:   Had a drink at the bar after dinner out elsewhere. Nice selections of wine and whisky. Great service and when one whisky was sold out, another ore upmarket whisky was offered at the same price which was nice. Very comfortable seating and nice aesthetic environment for a drink and chat in the bar.

Review:   I absolutely loved it here. We stayed 3 nights and had such a wonderful time! The rooms were clean, staff were super polite and friendly (especially Mr Walker!), and the buffet breakfast was so delicious! The gym also looked really wonderful, there were machines and weights and an indoor pool! I will definitely be staying here again when we visit Melbourne.

Review:   Excellent hotel. We stayed in a club king room and we were not disappointed. Large room with space to stretch out and relax. Staff is friendly and accommodative. The small drawback is that the location, while centrally located, is a little bit of a further walk than desirable to restaurants and shops. There is a tram stop very close by and obviously you can cab it anywhere you'd like.

Review:   Found our initial room which we were told was an upgrade to the room we had booked to be smaller than the room we had initially booked. The room also had cleanliness issues. The front desk were very high and did move is to the room type we had booked both on a higher floor and with a better view than the initial upgraded room. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. The club lounge is pleasant enough. Pour your own drinks and quite a few good options though only one hour choice. Pillows are super soft and terrible. It's an adequate hotel and my first time here though I would be reluctant to visit again.
