Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   I'm especially thankful to have picked Grand Hyatt during my stay here in Melbourne. It's right in the middle of everything, is in walking distance to all restaurants eateries and shopping, and nearby multiple car rental shops if you're planning to get a car for the day. The rooms are especially comfortable, and the rooms on both sides have gorgeous views - one side facing the city and the other facing the sports halls (with fireworks on special nights). Service is great, right from the on start where we were greeted by the service staff, every single day without fail when we return. All in all a great experience and I'll definitely be back again.

Review:   Had dinner at the restaurant a few times. The quality of the food is exceptional and for the price, far better than many other food joints. Good ingredients and cooked with a subtle touch. Well worth giving it a shot even if you are not staying there.

Review:   What can I say, we celebrated our wedding here with 160 of our nearest and dearest and what a night. The attention to detail, the staff and the food, OMG, the food was on point, perfectly executed and delicious. Since then we've been back for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Other People's weddings, or just a quick bite on our way home from work. Every time we're made to feel welcome and the food is consistently superb. We enjoy the window tables the most, quiet, private with a great view of the goings on below.

Review:   We just came back from a one night stay. I had originally booked the king deluxe room with city views, looking forward to a luxury weekend. When we got there, they gave us the standard river view. We realised it and told them it wasn't what we paid for. The reception person "upgraded" us to an other room with a city view. But then we just found out it wasn't really an upgrade, they put us into a standard city view room. I wished they have been more honest in the first place and told us that our initial booking was not available!! Obviously we were not valued guests.
