Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Beautiful resort. The beach is where the magic is, the view is absolutely breathtaking. I spent the entire day at the water, and even in the rain it was Paradise. At night the rooms are beyond comfortable, and ensure that you sleep as well as you spend the day. To top it off, the staff made things as smooth as can be. Wonderful experience, wonderful memories.

Review:   Staff was very attentive to our needs and we had a great experience for our honeymoon. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned twice daily. Ocean facing room had a great view but the sunset was not visible due to those giant beautiful mountains. We never ate here, but there were multiple options for doing so.

Review:   Great location on the North shore of Kauai. Spectacular views with great service and easy access to several nearby beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool is fantastic and the rooms are very comfortable. I believe all rooms have an ocean view as well. The staff is fantastic and always there to help with any needs you have.

Review:   An amazing stay with incredible views at every turn. The hotel is located the opening of Hanalei Bay. There is a secluded beach close by with great snorkeling. It can get a little rough on a windy day, but the pool is always a fantastic option. The staff is top notch. You could stay on the resort the entire time!

Review:   Pretty nice. Very luxurious. Good service everywhere. Nice boutique stores inside. Restaurants and bars were all great. Rooms very spacious and well accommodated. Very clean. And ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VIEWS! Beach is really nice and it's very private. AWESOME snorkeling right off the beach here! Amazing coral reef here. We saw dozens and dozens of varieties of fish, plus sea turtles, eels and manta rays too. Even barracuda of you go out past where the reef drops off. My only complaint about this place (and the entire island for that matter) is everything closes early. The bar here does stay open fairly late. And they have a little food too. But this place (and the entire island) is like a ghost town after 9:00 pm. I guess of you're old and like to go to bed early this is probably the place for you. But for those of us who want at least a little bit of something fun to do after dinner, there isn't much at all here and the nearest town (Hanalei) completely shuts down by 9:00. Kinda lame. Otherwise, this is a beautiful place to stay.
