Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are clean, staff is nice and helpful and the beach is fabulous. You can get a great glimpse of whales breaching from the beach if you're here during whale season. The beach is a bit rocky in many places, which is great for snorkeling, but don't be surprised if you get a scratch or two (wear water shoes if you're worried) Food options are on the pricier side, but still delicious if you're looking for a bite to eat while you relax poolside. My favorite is Auntie's, which is good for any meal (including great happy hour deals!). If you're looking for good local food though, look elsewhere, off-resort.

Review:   Here on an invitation only timeshare preview which was $800 for 5 nights and a car rental. Definitely worth the cost for the deal, but would not return paying market rates. The hotel, like all other in the area, is like a mini city. Over crowded and full of kids. Would be ideal for a family vacation but not the best for a romantic getaway. On the plus side, certain buildings have underground parking. Also a great benefit is free breakfast buffet (1 person) if you skip housekeeping, per day. More hotels need to do this.

Review:   Great view of the ocean (even from our room). There are a ton of great food and local craft beer options and shuttles to Lahaina. The rooms have full kitchens so bring food or buy some from their on site store. The restaurants are all very good, but you cant (or at least shouldn't) eat out every day. The beach is a very short walk from the hotel.

Review:   Very nice place with great grounds, rooms and views. Connected to a boardwalk that makes for a nice walk along the ocean. Definitely worth a check out if it's in your price range!

Review:   Amazing place to come on vacation! Beautiful ocean view nearby, massive pool with multiple hot tubs. The gazebos and cabanas by the pool make for a super relaxing vacation experience. Lots to do within short drive to either Lahaina or Whaler's Village.
