Review:   Recommended for: Families

Pros: Great location on Ka'anapali beach. Fun swimming pool layout, especially for kids. Easy walk to the shops, various restaurants.

Cons: Like all hotels on this beach, it's a big high-rise hotel, so you're sharing the beach with a lot of people during busy seasons. If you're looking for privacy and solitude, consider the Hana area perhaps.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Spent 10 days here, enjoyed every minute of it. All the staff were nice, professional and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained, housekeeping was especially nice and our room was well kept. Enjoyed the views, pools, everything! While this was our first trip, it will not be our last. Highly recommend staying here, loved the beach, close proximity to Whalers Village, and numerous other places.

Review:   If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Very nice resort with three different pools. Very clean rooms, bathroom. Stayed there for four days around Christmas with kids and the hotel staff handled the crowd very well. Rooms were nice and clean every evening when we got back. Have a nice beach walk behind the hotel. Highly recommend this place.

Review:   It's a Hotel 6 with a great view. We have be going there for years and pretty much getting the luxury ocean front room as well as a couple of ocean front rooms for the older kids. We keep paying more and getting less. Save your money just get the oceanfront room. I think I paid a third more ( around $750 a night) and got a Hotel 6 room. The luxury ocean front room are very old run down and a little dirty. I have heard the Sheraton is starting to remodel? If I could only figure out which of the 20 ocean view room categories can actually see the ocean.

Review:   We are staying in a deluxe ocean view room in the Beach Tower. The room and the view are fantastic. We're on a high floor, far from the elevator so it's quiet and lovely. I definitely recommend this category of room. My review is 4 stars and not 5 stars because of the food. I am vegetarian and this beautiful resort that caters to families and couples alike, does not really cater to dietary restrictions. There are very few options at all for a vegetarian on any of the menus at the resort and I was told that nothing could be made off menu either. We are here for our babymoon and wanted to spend the majority of our time just relaxing at the resort. But, now we're having to venture out to find food... so that I can eat more than just the singular veggie burger everyday. Just something to be aware of when selecting this resort.

Review:   The ocean tower is great. The other tower is old and dated. Service is really good and they are very courteous and accommodating. One of the elevators didn't work the whole time we were there so there were considerable waits for an elevator. Would be better if the beach amenities were available past 4. 4 is too early
