The Royal Hawaiian has refreshed its grandeur with a multimillion-dollar transformation, taking "The Pink Palace" a step beyond traditional luxury resort expectations. The redesign has revitalized the entire property, conjuring a decidedly chic and modern atmosphere that is still captivatingly Hawaiian, making this Waikiki's finest luxury resort.

The Royal Hawaiian is a playground for international royalty, Hollywood elite, and heads of state, this legendary pink-hued retreat is ushering in a new era of Hawaiian-style luxury on Oahu's golden Waikiki Beach with striking décor and unmatched service.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Stunningly beautiful hotel and grounds. This historic hotel is definitely a standout for its uniqueness and location. The Mai Tai Bar right on the beachfront was very enjoyable too, with excellent food options. My reason for the 3 star rating is because housekeeping was inconsistently provided and we had to call to request a maid one two occasions. This is wholly unacceptable for a not-cheap, luxury resort facility. To their credit, the management did reach out to me to inquire about and apologize for these concerns, but in the end, they did not offer us anything in return. We also did not like that although we had prepaid an all-inclusive stay, the front desk tried unsuccessfully to tack on resort fees. I wish we could have had the 5-star experience, but all in all, it's a gorgeous facility that I am glad I experienced.

Review:   The Royal Hawaiian is as beautiful as it is historic, but I would suggest if you want to stay here to save a little money before you come. I can see even there choice of color was on purpose, it's the only Hotel I've seen that's pink it stands out even on your flight in. They have stores for shopping, fine restaurants indoors and outside on the patio for eating. Parking is free and you pay per day if you're not. I would highly recommend.

Review:   We had brunch at Azure. The setting. Is beautiful, service was perfect and the food was delicious. I brought my son in a stroller and found it frustrating to navigate all of their ramps (there are tons of places with only a couple of steps). It would be doable but I don't feel this hotel is set up very well for strollers or wheelchairs.

Review:   Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms in the main restored building. The garden surrounding smells wonderfully sweet. If I step on this island again will definitely stay here. Convenient to walk to beach and shopping.

Review:   Lovely hotel. Staff are courteous and friendly. Our room was smaller than I expected for the price but nice decor and clean. (We didn’t spend much time in the room anyhow) concierges were very professional and helpful. We were able to book all the tours we wanted. The reception was very responsive and I liked that I was able to text questions and they would receive answers promptly. Over all I had a great experience there and will stay again.
