Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa is a 5-star property, located on a 'motu' islet, a 35-minute navigation from the Raiatea Airport and a 5-minute boat ride from the village of Tapuamu on the main island of Taha'a. The ultimate way to connect between Taha'a and Bora is definitely by helicopter ! Beyond being an easy and quick transfer, this 14-minute flight will be an excursion of pure beauty as you fly above the stunningly gorgeous Tahitian lagoons.

Designed to be one of the most luxurious hotels in French Polynesia; it is the only one of its kind in the archipelago. Superbly located on the coral reef of Motu Tautau and facing the island of Taha'a on the lagoon side, it offers an unsurpassed view of the island of Bora Bora.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   A beautiful, secluded resort...perfect for a serene escape from it all. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious...how can you beat overwater huts? The spa services are excellent. Rent a jet ski for a jaunt around Taha'a! And an AMAZING coral garden to snorkel through. Limited, expensive dining options do get tiresome, but that is the price you pay for serenity I guess...

Review:   Perfect place for the ultimate private get away. Super secluded. Great staff that is extremely attentive and kind. My wife and I stayed here for part of our 3 island honeymoon back in February. I wanted to follow up with how much I enjoyed my time here. Its been 3 months now since I was there and I still look back on how great it was and how much we did not appreciate it while we were there. We stayed there for 3 nights over a weekend. This meant going across to the main island didn't offer a lot to do as much was closed. At the time I my wife and I found it almost to secluded and boring being there. There isn't an abundance of activities and while we were there at least there seemed to be only 10 or 12 other couples at the resort. Looking back though this provided us with the most attentive staff and ultimate in relaxation. The views over to Bora Bora were tremendous and the water around the resort was only 2 feet deep and super clear which allowed us to see so much marine life right from our room, we later discovered the resorts in Bora Bora are not as lucky and the water is much deeper there. Snorkeling was great and the coral gardens are something we did not take advantage of enough. Upon leaving the resort we were escorted out by the general manager who was very pleasant and assured we had a great time. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to head to the Tahitian Islands.

Review:   Le Taha’a is situated on a beautiful islet, a five-minute-boat ride away from Taha’a island, famous for its lush vanilla plantations and its black pearl farms. Idyllic, intimate and wonderfully preserved, this retreat is in the heart of a natural setting of fascinating beauty, where an enchanting vanilla fragrance fills the air. The lagoon has crystal-clear waters and splendid colours and there is an exceptional coral garden.
