For those who want to travel all the way to Hana and experience much of this famous highway, this is your adventure!

There is a reason nobody has invented off road coach buses and frankly it comes down to the fact that Jeeps do it better. Take this chance to enjoy the beauty of "The Magic Isle" as you embark on a 4-wheel adventure that brings you up close and personal with some of the most spectacular views on Maui. This is the perfect opportunity to travel all the way to Hana and experience much of this famous highway. You will travel along the more famous northern route to Hana Town and return back over the same road, while experiencing Maui's verdant rainforest, swim at a rare black sand beach, and enjoy numerous cascading waterfalls.

The journey along the Hana Highway begins at a small town on Maui's north shore named Pa'ia town. A little over one hundred years ago, Pai'ia town was a sugar plantation town. Here you can grab a cup of Maui coffee and a freshly baked scone at a local coffee shop before venturing on. Today Pai'ia is famous primarily for Ho'okipa Beach which is located right beyond the town. An exposed reef runs along most of the Ho'okipa Beach shorebreak, and frequently Hawaiian green sea turtles can be seen bobbing just on the other side. Some may even be found lazing on shore at the far end of the beach - make sure to look close to the lookout cliff since this is their favorite lazing spot. If you would like, we can stop at the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The grounds are amazing and immaculately maintained with fantastic ocean views, and lots of photo opportunities.

Soon you will come to Waikani Stream Bridge, called one of the most impressive bridges in Maui. Built in 1926, during the completion of the Hana Hwy, it is unique in that its structure type is a continuous concrete arch-deck, and has a dramatic appearance. At the Wailua Lookout, you will have your last view of Wailua Village, with spectacular views. Pua'a Ka'a Waterfalls Park is the place to visit if you're looking for a typical Hawaiian swimming experience and a beautiful waterfall to swim under. Make sure you have on some water shoes since there are lots of rocks, and note that the water is from a natural spring so it is incredibly clean, but also chilly.

Makapipi Falls is an easily accessible waterfall, like many waterfalls in Maui, but what makes this one special is that you will be able to stand right above it, which makes for a unique vantage point. The Hana Highway crosses directly over the stream, allowing you a view of the falls over the railing.

If you like, we can make a stop at Ka'eleku Cave (Hana Lava Tube), and is a must-see for those interested in caves and geology. It is a fun, family-friendly adventure, and you will marvel at the underground lavascape.

The Black Sand beach at Wai'anapanapa, is the biggest draw for visitors on the Road to Hana. There is just something about black sand that is fascinating, although the beach is more like small black pebbles, and not so much sand. With the outstanding scenery, a blowhole, ocean caves, black sand beaches, fresh water pools, and easy walks, there is just so much to do here that it should be a must see stop on any Road to Hana tour.

After 52 miles of winding road known as the Hana Highway, you will reach Hana Town, considered to be the "real Hawaii". Hana town is small, quiet, beautiful and a very important town for the people of Hawaii.

- We suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes since you will be walking on uneven surfaces.
- Entrance fees are not included for Garden of Eden or Ka'eleku Cave (Hana Lava Tube).

- This is a private tour, based on a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 people per Jeep.
- All participants need to be in good physical health and able to get into and out of the jeep which requires a step.
- You will be required to furnish the weight of each passenger.
- All stops are optional depending on weather, interest, and accessibility.
- This tour does not include Pipiwai Trail/Seven Sacred Pools and the red sand beach at Kaihalulu. The Pipiwai Trail/Seven Sacred Pools is located in Haleakala National Park and we do not have a permit to enter the park. The trail to red sand beach is dangerous and crosses private property, so tours are not permitted here. As an alternative we can stop at Koki Beach where there is red sand to enjoy.
