Dance, Taste & Sip The Best Of Buenos Aires...A Premium Shared Van TourExplore > Argentina > Buenos Aires > Dance, Taste & Sip The Best Of Buenos Aires...A Premium Shared Van Tour
OverviewA mish mosh of food, drink and dance will set you straight about Buenos Aires. A comprehensive experience of living like a local. Buenos Aires always brings to mind culture, food, wine, and tango! This combination of 3 of those elements will indoctrinate you quickly into the lifestyle of the locals. You begin with some guidance from a professional dancer in the art of the Tango. It was born at the end of the 19th century in the poor neighborhoods Buenos Aires and is ever popular. Even if you have 2 left feet you will enjoy learning the basic steps of this romantic dance. The two most essential elements are the embrace and the nostalgia. No sense in worrying about how you are doing as the dance is all about letting go and feeling the music. After you have those movements stamped into your memory, you will dance over to the area where you will create an empanada with the flare of an Argentinean. This dish is enjoyed for breakfast, lunch and dinner and can be filled with whatever you choose. Today you will have a choice of meat or veggie filling as you make this authentic recipe. In an interactive and approachable way, your warm, friendly host will tell you about local food traditions as well as details about Buenos Aires life as you are walked through the preparation of one of the nation’s most beloved dishes. This is a quick study and it won't be long before you are ready to tackle another highlight of Argentinean life - cocktails! Perhaps this part might have been useful BEFORE the tango lesson - but now you can drink to your victory instead. The bartenders, or "porteños" will have some interesting local drinks that mesh nicely with your empanada. Take time to understand the ingredients and how to mix them as you sample them. You have conquered all of these local traditions in a short period of time. Tasting several of these cocktails will certainly be a just dessert for this experience! - Dress comfortably. - This is an easy but stimulating experience. - There is only the food and beverages listed as well as soft drinks that are included in this tour. - We recommend you bring a bottle of water. - Gratuities would be appreciated. - There is a minimum of 2 people to run this tour and a maximum of 12 people. - The driver of the transfer vehicle does not speak English.
