Beer Me...Right Now! Prague Craft Beer And Food TourExplore > Czech Republic > Beer Me...Right Now! Prague Craft Beer And Food TourOverviewIf your idea of a great time is foamy, hoppy and refreshing, you've come to the right place. Prague's craft beer scene has taken off in recent years, like so many other cities. But the partnering with a beer expert to select the sampled beers gives this tour a distinct advantage over the rest. We enjoy our first tasting at a local beer garden, a lovely, shady spot overlooking the city. From there we'll stroll the streets of Prague with its glorious architecture as our fun and knowledgeable guide informs us about the history of brewing in Prague, a city whose name is synonymous with beer. Turning in here, ducking in there, we'll find the hidden purveyors of the city's finest brewed creations, including one produced by the oldest brewery in the world. We'll discover the finer points of pale versus dark lagers and learn how to pair beer with food, a practice more commonly associated with wine. You might not expect that Communism had an effect on the brewing of beer in Prague, but you'd be wrong. It's another one of the interesting stories this city (and your guide) has to tell. To help you keep your footing, we provide samples of a number of Czech delights, including snacks traditionally consumed alongside beer, Scotch eggs, traditional Czech dumplings, braised beef and even a little something for your sweet tooth. - Transportation to and from the meeting location is not included.
