Hong Kong After Dark - Evening Food TourExplore > Hong Kong > Hong Kong After Dark - Evening Food TourOverviewTake a detour from the tourist spots to experience Hong Kong's best foods after dark. There's a different feel to nighttime tours. Things are a bit more interesting, a bit more exciting, a lot more fun. The Temple Street Night Market is the last of its kind in Hong Kong. This iconic example of Hong Kong culture is bursting with energy and theater and is not to be missed. Vendors peddle their wares while fortune tellers look deep into the future and opera singers entertain the crowds. And everywhere is food. Palate-pleasing, taste-tempting foods of all description. Your knowledgeable, local guide is the key to navigating the bustling streets to find the most authentic, delicious tastes around. We'll stop at a Sichuan Specialty store to sample the tastiest pancakes in the city and visit a fish ball stall to try some famous Hong Kong curry fish balls. The family atmosphere is apparent when you step into an herbal tea shop, now being operated by fourth-generation owners. Savor their fragrant, cleansing five flower tea. Egg Puffs are among the most quintessential Hong Kong snacks. The ones we'll sample are hot, made-to-order and delicious! Next we'll take a step back in time to a 1950's cafe to try fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce. Seafood is on the menu for our last stop. Enjoy a delightful fresh seafood and crispy chicken dinner, all served with a foamy, refreshing beer. While the focus of this tour is food, you'll also get a generous helping of local culture, historical information and architectural gems along the way. - You will have to take a taxi to the meeting location for this tour.
