Iceland has all levels of engagement, from the tame to the extreme. This adventure needs no expertise - just a willingness to explore the country in a more Icelandic way. After you arrive at the departure point of the tour, you will board a super jeep and head for Pingvellir National Park. The park is the most significant historical site in Iceland as it is not only a beautiful extensive space but the location of the country's first parliament which was founded in 930 AD. It is actually the oldest existing parliamentary institution in the world! Taking your specially modified super truck through the rough terrain of the park is almost like a ride in a fun park. For a moment you might envy the job of the driver who seems to be trying to challenge the ground he is driving on.

Not too far away is the second stop on the Golden Circle tour, the very active geyser hot spring area. You have moved into the interior of the country to find the geyers and they are surrounded by boiling mud pits and spouting springs. Wait a few minutes and you will see the master of them all reach heights that seem unbelievable by natural causes.

Continuing on, you can look forward to Gulfoss, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Iceland. With all the snow year round in Iceland, there is runoff everywhere, from trickles to major streams, but Gulfoss is particularly beautiful. The moisture and the sounds of the water will hit you before the vision of the falls. Once you arrive, you will see what all the fuss is about. The falls is presented in 2 stages, the upper and the lower, both coming from a rugged canyon setting on the Hvita river. The waterfall is fed by the Langjokull glacier and falls down over 100 feet.

You have witnessed the result of the melting glacier. Now you will see the glacier yourself. Board your snowmobile and enjoy a good time dashing around the snowfields surrounded by peaks and ice every which way you look. What irony that this adventure is available year round!

- No experience necessary for this excursion. It is a soft adventure.
- Please bring warm, wind-proof clothing, waterproof hiking boots, and a camera.
- The snowmobiles are priced as shared. If you wish to be alone on the machine, purchase the additional cost for a private ride.
- For snowmobiling, winter suits, grovels, hoods, helmet and shoe covers are available.
- Food, beverages, and gratuities are not included in the cost of this tour.

- This is shared program accommodates a maximum of 10 people.
- You must bring a valid driver's license to operate a snowmobile.
- The itinerary may be altered based on weather and road conditions.
- You must be 6 years old to ride with your parent on a snowmobile.
- Book early in order to avoid the disappointment of sell-outs. Please note we may have alternative tour options at a higher cost.
