OverviewExplore this interesting area in style with your own local guide. You can tour anywhere you would like in your standard sedan, SUV, van or bus. For all intents and purposes this makes perfect sense as there are just more of these vehicles cruising around. So! When you come across the chance to explore in an open air Jeep Wrangler you don't pass it up! Throw on your favorite pair of shades and head out towards the famous Peggy's Cove with your local guide providing commentary along the way. After being met at the cruise ship pier you will begin your journey outside of Halifax and pass along the waterfront where you can see the Marketplace, Canadian Naval Ships and packed ship yards. Peer out across the harbor for views of the beautiful Bedford Basin. Old Prospect Road will you take you to Peggy's Cove giving you a chance to climb around the rocks and soak in the coastal views. Lighthouses along the way will pull you in for picturesque shots that have made the area famous. As the day is completely customizable and can be taken at your own pace, feel free to discuss with your guide about the best way to allocate your time. A stop will be made for snacks giving you a chance to try some local favorites. The day is yours! - Please be aware that some ships do not adjust to local time when in port. Halifax is on Atlantic time, so the local time may be +1 hour from ship time. Please double check with your cruise line. Best reference is your daily newsletter delivered to your cabin for port time information or your ships guest relations desk. - Please note that food, beverages and gratuities are not included in the price. - Space is limited and each Jeep only holds 4 passengers.
