St-Tropez And The Perched VillagesExplore > France > St. Tropez > St-Tropez And The Perched VillagesOverviewExplore St-Tropez (home of the stars!), a medieval village, and Port Grimaud. Welcome to St-Tropez--to the streets of artists, cafés, and "haute couture" winding down to the picturesque port. The harbor teems with life, and luxurious yachts are moored alongside fishing boats. Learn about the history of the village and hike to the top where you can look down over the famous beach. Next, continue on to Grimaud, founded by Ligurian Tribes. Visit this medieval village with a unique charm all its own. Admire the ruins of Grimaud Castle, located on top of the hill, and St. Michel Church, built in pure Romanesque style. Your last stop is Port Grimaud, known by some as "Little Venice." A Mediterranean yachting and fishing village on the north shore of St-Tropez's bay, Port Grimaud is known to be a fascinating combination of luxurious housing, bougainvillea-covered façades lining narrow streets, tiny squares, bridges, and canals. Designed by the famous architect François Spoerry, it looks like a Mediterranean fishing village, but is a modern complex of luxury housing with beautiful waterfront properties. Stroll through this lively village, passing the brightly painted houses with Roman roof tiles. - The price of this tour does not include an optional boat trip in Port Grimaud for €5. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
