About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   I had a great experience here at the resort. While the private beach was small and the rooms need some updating...the staff were AMAZING which made the trip all the more fun!! So I'm going to name drop for people who went out their way to make our trip fun (my apologies for any misspellings...): JANEELE, KIMONE, OSHANE, MAURICE, RILANDO, TAMEKA, COLLETTE, NAHSAY, SAKOY, and the staff at the French Restaurant for singing me Happy Birthday!! ...speaking of restaurants the French and Italian restaurant were the best but was not a fan of the Mediterranean restaurant. You MUST stop by and get a crepe! Lastly, *if* I were to return I would only stay in the beach front rooms with a *private* balcony. The rooms with a shared balcony was a little too exposed for my taste as folks were able to walk past the doors at any time.

Review:   It was a beautiful place.. but even though you are not supposed (they wear buttons that say please do not tip) to tip.. the person who brings you to the room expects one. Also bring cash because there are people from the island on property and everytime you walk past them they try to guilt you into buying souvenirs.. and the two workers at the bar by the stage were really rude. Once I tried to ask for a drink and the guy came out from the back and the lady yelled at him to make my drink and stomped out of sight into the back. And neither of them would smile. There were some amazing and wonderful workers there but these two are what I really remember. The views were beautiful though and the room was lovely. It was a very clean resort.

Review:   Its really tough to know where to start, but I will try. We decided we couldn't get a cruise in time for our dates, so we looked at an all inclusive resort and this led us to The Beaches At Ocho Rios. All I can say is WOW. We have 4 kids, 6 months, 6/7/14 and also brought our 14 year olds friend for the trip. This resort has something for everyone. Food - Every restaurant was exceptional, from breakfast, lunch or dinner, they really did a fantastic job. It seemed like every night was a special occasion so dinner would be setup at pool, veranda, or at beach for a beach party. My favorite like most people was BBQ Pit as I am officially addicted to Jerk Chicken. I would recommend if you go to Neptune's you order two of everything you order, or maybe I am greedy, as portions very small. Entertainment This is a family resort so lots to do for the kids, fro sesame street characters, shows, breakfasts etc, to the kids and teens clubs. All the employees are just amazing. To be honest, its really just Jamaicans in general, some of the most amazing and beautiful people I have met, where you were a bartender, janitor, bus driver, it didnt matter, they were all exceptional. I have to give a shoutout to Alex and of course RuShain(aka Tom Cruise), these guys just live and breed personality and everyone just loves them from babies, to teens to adults. The resort is very lucky yo have them. ToDo All the kids loved the pools and of course especially the water park, it was one of the main reasons we booked here. They practically lived there. The water sports were awesome too, banana boats, hobi cats, snorkeling, kayaks, and of course its all included. All the guys out on the beach were awesome too but a special thanks to Romaine for just been a downright super nice and helpful individual, they were all just great guys. We also took excursion to Dunns Falls, it was amazing. We would have loved to do the Bobsled but ran out of time. Small Negative, is the cost of the photos they take during random times when you are around the property or even sessions on the beach. The average cost to purchase one photo is $13, yes THIRTEEN DOLLARS for ONE DIGITAL PHOTO, that is just insane. I am a photoholic and thank heavens I am, as asking me to pay that kind of money for some small memories after the amount I already spent for my week, is ridiculous. Unless you want to pay that money, dont even have you or your kids waste time posing, unless you are planing on spending another $500 for memories. Overall This is a family resort, it has s small beach but everything else makes up for that. For the most part, it quietens down by 10 most nights, but main bar still open for the adults who still want to chill etc. Two hour ride from montego, but driver was awesome tour guide on way and really didn't notice the time and it was also a very scenic beautiful ride. We will definitely be back here. Final thanks to Ruth for making sure she did everything to be sure we had connecting rooms for our family, the teens loved it and we did too knowing they were next to us. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!

Review:   This resort isn't luxorious. If you read other reviews you might know that this hotel is in bad shape. It is called beaches and it's beach is so tiny. It doesn't even have a longer beach next to the hotel. It is built on a hill and includes lots of stairs. There is only one big pool and several small kids and slide pools. Water sports aren't much fun and the food choices aren't many, plus the menu repeats in restaurants and buffet. No tiling policie doesn't work. Not much to do in site for a regular week long vacation. Regular price is fake and the 24/7/365 deals are still too expensive. If you want beaches only go Turks and Caicos cuz all of the other suck.
