About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The food here is the weakest point. Most of it is just okay and there aren't a lot of snack options earlier the day. Although the crepe place is fantastic and open early, it's not close to the water park or main pool. The water park is good. There are fun slides kids of 38 inches can ride alone (or with a grown-up). You have to be taller for the biggest slides. Kids can't go on the very smallest slides in the centre structure with a grown-up but they're in too deep water for the littles kids to really use. The only 0 entry pool is connected to the water park but it doesn't open till later in the morning. The main pool is nice and has a swim up bar. The beach is nice with plenty of seats. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the overall service was great. Our kids enjoyed the Sesame Street shows and our eldest tried out the kids club activities and was a big fan.

Review:   This was the first trip with our children, 23 months old and 5. We were nervous before leaving Canada about having our babies looked after by other people we don't know. I can promise you, the care givers were so loving that our girls chose to stay in the daycare from 12:30 - 4:30 four days in a row. When we arrived to pick up the girls, they asked to stay longer, EVERY DAY! As well, I truly can't say enough about the restaurant and entertainment staff. We are Beaches travellers for life. Seriously, why would we go to any other destination company when they made our family so happy. Thanks again Beaches Ocho Rios Staff!! Love you all. Crowe Family

Review:   I went here with my family (all adults) and we had one the of best vacations ever! There were 5 of us in one room, but the room was spacious enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other all week (plus we didn't spend much time in the room anyway). The resort was beautiful, but what really made it amazing was the staff! They were all so friendly and helpful. The entertainment team always made sure people were having fun and came up with all kinds of fun activities. The guys down at the water sports area were also amazing. The bartenders and waiters at the restaurants were always great. I also appreciated that it was a smaller resort, so it didn't take too long to get anywhere, and you really got to know the staff, and sometimes even the other vacationers! The food was amazing, and the drinks were delicious. The resort is also extremely family friendly for families with younger kids. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation!

Review:   This is a nice resort if you like screaming kids all day and night especially in the restaurants. Our best day was our retie the knot ceremony and the catamaran ride. Audie the wedding planner did a great job taking care of all the details. Concierge staff was great also! We had a hard time trying to get the Aqua center guys to give us the SCUBA refresher course. The red flag stayed up most of our visit. The water activities were limited when they would put the yellow flag up. The staff was super nice and they would all go out of their way to help you out!! The hotel needs two elevators in the main lobby and on the beach. Also they need one at the Bayside restaurant to transverse the levels for wheel chair people. There was a lot of maintenance that needed to be done. One of worse things was the over population of cats all over the hotel and the smell of cat spray. It is not good when all of your family is allergic to cats!

Review:   Wonderful resort. It's the employees that really make the place. If you ever go, look for Hank (waiter) he is amazing. Very take command when guests need help. He took very good care of my family. 10/10 The only thing I would change is not allowing guests to save chairs by the pool while they go for breakfast. I think if chairs go unoccupied for more than 40 minutes, they should be considered done.
