Hodgson Family...Private Highlights Of Aruba...12/28/14Explore > Aruba > Hodgson Family...Private Highlights Of Aruba...12/28/14
OverviewBest value on the island! This Tour Includes: • PRIVATE transportation from the cruise ship pier to the Radisson hotel • English speaking guide • Refreshments (water and soda) • Aloe Vera Factory and Museum • Casibari Rock Formation • Natural Bridge (if road conditions permit) • Alto Vista Chapel • California Light House • Drop off at the Radisson Hotel After picking you up at the cruise ship pier or your hotel, we'll head out to the Aloe Vera Factory and Museum. Aloe plays a big part in Aruba's history and you'll learn all about it on your Aloe Factory tour! Once your skin is hydrated we're off to the Casibari Rock Formation. This is one of Aruba's famous natural wonders. The rock formation inexplicably rises up from the desert soil. This is a "must see!" Now, we'll explore the Natural Bridge that collapsed in 2005. The bridge was a formation of coral limestone cut out by years of pounding surf and was one of the largest in the world. The Natural Bridge is still a popular spot and there is a smaller bridge (Baby Bridge) nearby. At the Alto Vista Chapel you will see one of the most famous Catholic Churches in the Caribbean. Make sure you take a walk on the Peace Labyrinth. This circuit around the perimeter of the church was a tool used to heighten both prayer and meditation. The final stop will be the California Lighthouse which was named after the wrecked S.S. California that sunk just off the shore in 1891. From here you'll have a panoramic view of the Northwest tip as you observe kids playing in the nearby sand dunes. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
