Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Love the property. Very convenient to travel to Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal to visit. They offer a complimentary shuttle. I proposed to my now fiance a couple weeks ago at the Montego Bay property and the staff helped made it a proposal of a lifetime. Best trip ever!

Review:   My wife and I decided to vacation to Sandals Inn from April28th to May 8th 2018. We vacation twice a year ( May/ November) and enjoy Scuba diving! We are both certified Advanced divers who have travelled extensively, diving all over the Caribbean. We decided to visit Jamaica, and a Sandals resort for the first time. Our travel agent informed us that Sandals was unlimited scuba diving, and of all the perks that comes with the SANDALS name. I've never been so disappointed in vacation. We brought our own gear for diving and later found out we had to haul all our gear back and forth to Sandals Montego Bay, who have NO LOCKERS for your gear. The inconvenience of hauling the gear is just the beginning. We had no balcony to hang out gear. After some hesitation, we were given a room with balcony so we could hang out gear to dry. The dive sites are average at best. You'd expect the service on the boat to be great, RIGHT? Guess again.... The Divemasters Doc, Terminator, and Johnny need to be fired!!!! The unprofessionalism I observed was beyond words.... While briefing the divers on the boat, Johnny asked if everyone had their weights and explained he doesn't carry any. He said " All the weight I need is RIGHT HERE" while grabbing his penis. Then while explaining what we may see underwater, DOC scratched his crotch area and said CRABS". ALL of those three were also ignorant and UNSAFE!!!! While diving with NEW DIVERS who had only done a discover Scuba, Doc was at least 100ft away from his clients. This is VERY STUPID AND DANGEROUS!!!! Had his clients panicked, they could have DROWNED. I recognized this, and stayed near them myself. I know for a FACT that PADI will not like this when I send my complaint in and the Photos to prove it. They should NOT be diving with people's lives in their hands. On the dock, while boarding the boat I also witnessed someone slip and smack their head very hard on the dock. No regard for peoples safety. I would not recommend the diving here, they also boast UNLIMITED diving, not true! 2 dives a day. Night dives if you get 4 people or more, for 100 U.S. If you're an experienced driver, you'll be VERY DISSAPOINTED!!! The boat captain was great, so was DONOVAN. Those 2 were great! The food and lodgings were o.k. at the Inn. The PEOPLE WERE AWESOME!!!! this is why I gave the 2 stars. Especially for Cameal. She went above and beyond. I understand she's training to be a butler for Sandals, and I wish her ALL THE BEST!!!! My next visit to Jamaica I think will be with someone else. I'd strongly advise you do the same. When I took these complaints up with Management, it must have fallen on deaf ears. They simply don't care.
