Journey around Greece's most popular island in relaxed comfort to hear and see the most visited sites. Your small group will enjoy direct contact with your guide as you travel over the roads of the island which offers interesting and surprising terrains.

Your first stop is a visit to the traditional village for a chance to walk the streets and soak in the local culture before heading over to the famous archaeological site of Akrotiri also known as "Minoan Pompeii". This location was destroyed and covered by the ashes of an enormous volcanic eruption in 1450 BC and you will have time to explore the settlement via a multi-story building and magnificent paintings of the Minoan civilization. There are indications that this civilization reached its peak a little before it was destroyed by the volcano.

Next you will take off for a chance to dig your toes into the sand at the famous black beach that perfectly juxtaposes the crystal blue waters along the south eastern coast of the island.

Ready to taste some of Santorini's local wines? At a family-owned winery you will learn about ancient to modern-day wine making involved in the local viticulture. The tastings will be accompanied by a variety of cheeses. The famous wines of this region are a direct result of the island's unique climate and mineral content of its volcanic soil. Having 3,000 years of wine making experience doesn't hurt either!

- The cost of the cable car is not included in the price of this tour. Tickets are about 6€ per person each way.
- If you are staying at a hotel, you will be advised of the closest pickup point to your hotel. The information will be on your voucher as well as the approximate time of the pickup.

- This is a very popular tour. We recommend you book early.
- This tour is available daily from April 15 - October 31. Tour is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays only Nov 1 - April 14.
- You must be at least 18 years old to consume alcohol.
