Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Great resort we have stayed here 3 times. You just need to be aware every room is independently owned so they are all a different standard. This trip we had booked a two bedroom but one bedroom had a curtain instead of a wall. The owner had cut one of the walls out for a more open floor plan. The room was also very basic and dated with lots of signs of wear. It obviously had not been renovated since it was built and all basic options were picked. We asked for a new room and we got a MUCH nicer room! The location is great, the staff are very friendly! I just feel outrigger needs to find a way to enforce owners to have a higher standard to be rented through them.

Review:   My wife and I spent 7 days at the Maui Eldorado and thoroughly enjoyed each of them. The room was a garden view studio with a kitchen and a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well equipped to and the bed very comfortable. The resort also has a Cabana on the beach with full kitchen and towels, beach chairs, and loungers. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

Review:   A great balance of a nice resort but with a home-feel that makes longer stays more comfortable. The inclusion of a kitchen is a great way to save on otherwise expensive dining out. A short walk to the beach with a private cabana makes this a great getaway. One of the great things about this place is location. It’s on the touristy side of the island but with its specific location it avoids the feeling of being in the middle of chaise with all the larger resorts down the road. You’ll have quick access to popular destinations but with a lot less busy of a feel. There’s a parking garage centrally located that gives you easy access to the condos and includes a pool with multiple grills on the roof. It has tons of beach chairs and other places if you want to relax in the sun but not go down to the beach. The rooms themselves are very nice and almost everyone has an amazing view of the ocean and sunrise/sunset. The kitchens are usually well maintained and a few of the condos have multiple private bedrooms so you can split the cost with a friend. The cabana is fully stocked with towels, beach toys, etc. and has a place for food prep and indoor seating. The best part is lying on beach chairs at sunset while reading a book of just enjoying the view. The beach itself feels more private as the resorts near this beach are around corners so you don’t get as much bleed over traffics. The waves aren’t big enough to surf but plenty of fun to boogie board on and depending on tide there is good snorkeling just around the corner. The back of the condos is a golf course that is expensive but worth a play if you’re into it. The cleaning costs are virtually the same no matter how long you stay so if you’re going to go, stay a while to make the cleaning costs worth it.

Review:   Not on the beach, but there is beach access via golf cart. There is a golf course between the resort and the beach. Ocean view by binoculars ;) Parking is difficult. Spaces are small and lots are full. There is a parking garage. Condos are roomy, full kitchen. Our ice maker never worked, A/C quits working when you open the sliders, and barely works. It took 3 days to really get the place cool and temps were mid 80s. overall a nice place to stay!

Review:   The concierge, Kai is wonderfully helpful. The apartments are well stocked and easily accessible. Beautifully kept grounds and pools. Public Bbq were a big plus for the meal savings and atmosphere.
