St. Petersburg Boat ExcursionExplore > Russian Federation > St. Petersburg > St. Petersburg Boat ExcursionOverviewA very relaxing way to see the waterfront beauty of St. Petersburg. By the order of Peter the First, all buildings along rivers and canals were built tight to each other and are facing the water with their fancy facades forming a solid line of great and historic architecture. St. Petersburg is a romantic city interspersed with wide rivers and more than 20 narrow, picturesque canals. The banks of rivers and canals are spanned with 300 bridges, all of them unique in decoration and design. It is very Venice in nature. A river and canal trip is a wonderful way to spend a leisurely hour. You'll get a chance to catch your breath during your extensive, and sometimes exhausting, sightseeing. It will give you the opportunity to admire the city's famous cathedrals, churches, and mansions from a different point of view. Though each trip takes a different route, you may see some of the most popular sites in St. Petersburg: St. Trinity Cathedral, St. Isaac's Cathedral, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Big Drama Theater, Mariinsky Theater, Sheremetiev Palace, Strogonovsky Palace, Yusupov Palace, Anichkov Palace, and the famous Anichkov bridge. You may pass under the longest bridge (over 100 meters) in St. Petersburg as you make your way through this fascinating city. We offer this trip in a non-private and a private version. The non-private version is an economical way for small parties (one to five passengers) to take in this popular excursion. Please note that the savings over a private boat charter is very small when you have five passengers, and non-existent when your party is six or more. If you are purchasing the evening boat ride, you must also purchase a transfer. Daytime rides will be integrated into your daily itinerary and do not require an additional transfer. -This tour may only be purchased in conjunction with a ShoreTrips St. Petersburg 1-day or 2-day shore excursion package. - If you arrive late for the tour, you will need to be transferred to meet your group. By the time you meet up with them, you will most likely have missed a portion of the tour. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
