After being picked up at your hotel in Paris, your English-speaking interpreter-guide will take you to the Château de Versailles, home to Louis XIV. The Château de Versailles, which has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List for 30 years, is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th century French art.

The Château de Versailles, the seat of power until 1789, has continued to unfurl its splendour over the course of centuries. At first it was just a humble hunting lodge built by Louis XIII, but Louis XIV chose the site to build the palace we know today, the symbol of royal absolutism and embodiment of classical French art.

Your visit will begin with a one-hour guided tour of the Palace, more particularly of the King's Grand Apartments, the Queen’s bedroom, and the famous Hall of Mirrors.

During this excursion, you may freely discover the picturesque formal gardens "à la Française."

- This tour does not include lunch or other personal expenses, nor any admissions not mentioned.
- Please note that the guided visit inside Versailles may be led by another guide different from the one in charge of the transportation part of the tour.
- Group size is usually 8 passengers. If the group is larger than 8 passengers, we may use earbuds to facilitate your hearing the guide's commentary and to block out excess noise.
- Please note that pick ups are only available from certain districts within Paris. If pick up is not provided for your hotel, then we will provide you with a central meeting location. No pick-up available from the following districts in Paris – 75010-75011-75012-75013-75018-75019-75020. If you have questions, contact ShoreTrips.
- Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the summer (June 21-September 22),the "Grandes Eaux" music and water show is also included in the entrance fee.

- The exact time of pickup may be within 15 minutes of time listed on voucher.
- The reservation fee and admission to Château de Versailles is non-refundable after the tour has been confirmed.
- Please keep in mind that this is a shared tour. It is not private. The tour operator must maintain his schedule for a fair and successful day for all.
- You are purchasing a shared tour and you will be expected to maintain the pace of the group. If you use a walker, wheelchair or scooter or if you have mobility problems you will be refused service and not refunded. We suggest that you purchase a private tour for your best enjoyment.
