Your tour begins in Lisbon, where you will see the city's main sites, including Alfama, Lisbon's oldest quarter. You'll also pay a visit to the well-preserved 16th century Belem district, where you will find monuments related to the Portuguese Golden period, linked with the heroic deeds of the Portuguese maritime exploration in the 15th and 16th centuries. This was the Age of Discoveries and the Golden Era of Portugal, transforming Lisbon into the opulent center of a vast empire. Finally, make sure to check out the traditional commercial downtown, which was totally rebuilt in the 18th century following a huge earthquake.

Of course, it is said that any visitor to Lisbon must also visit the romantic town of Sintra, Portugal's ex-libris, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. - Cruise ship passengers will be met at the cruise terminal by a representative of the tour company, who will then escort you to your touring vehicle, about a 5-10 minute walk from the pier. Hotel guests will be picked up at their hotel.
- Food, beverages, entrance fees, and optional gratuities are not included in the price of this tour.
- Entrance fee to the Castle of Saint George is €7.5 per person. Pena Palace entrance fee is €14 per person. Trolley to the palace costs €3 per person.

- Please note that the Pena Palace is closed on Mondays, and will be substituted with the Sintra Palace.
- All palaces are closed December 25th and January 1st.
