Overview
Fall in love with this charming seaside town!
This private tour for you and up to 5 of your favorite people is a delight for all ages. From the unique natural phenomenon of the Reversing Falls to the quaint resort village of St. Andrews, your group is in for a special day.
Board your van for a short tour of the highlights of Saint John. We'll explore a bit more of the city on our return trip, but for now, your guide knows you're anxious to get to your destination. So sit back and enjoy the drive along the rural New Brunswick coastline as you travel to the picturesque resort town of St. Andrews by-the-Sea. During the drive, your experienced local guide will fill you in on the history and geology of this beautiful region.
Upon arrival in St. Andrews, discover the charms of this historic seaside town, whose downtown area remains largely unchanged since the 1800's. Take a walk along Passamaquoddy Bay, an inlet of the Bay of Fundy, and stroll through Canada's most luxurious and legendary resort, the Algonquin. There are restaurants galore where you can enjoy a delicious lunch and unique shopping opportunities in the quaint stores along the waterfront. From fine artwork and high-end fashions to antiques and even hardware, you're sure to find something you simply must have.
Reflect on your day in St. Andrews as you make your way back to St. John. Back in town, watch the world-famous Reversing Falls and witness some of the highest tides in the world. The waters of the Bay of Fundy and the mighty Saint John River collide, causing the river to reverse its direction twice a day.
Your final stop is the Old City Market, a St. John treasure since 1876 and Canada's oldest continuing farmers market. Some of the vendors here have plied their wares for generations, so you know they must be doing something right.
