You will continue on your drive through the city to Cimiez Hill, which was the winter residence of Queen Victoria and is home to the Matisse Museum. Kept safe in an Italian house from the 17th century, here you will find the personal collection of Matisse himself, who lived in Nice from 1917 to 1954. These paintings, drawings, and engravings offer a broad and wonderful presentation of the artist's work.
