Overview

Visit several of Santorini's fascinating villages, and enjoy a leisurely Greek lunch.

Santorini is said to be the most spectacular of the Greek isles in the Cyclades island chain.

This tour includes:
- Transfer from cruise ship to tour coach
- Tour with English-speaking guide on deluxe air-conditioned coach
- Oia village
- Pyrgos village
- Monastery of the Prophet Elijah
- Megalochori village
- 3-course lunch with Santorinian wine
- Return to the old port of Fira

From your cruise ship you will board a local tender, which will take you to the old port of Fira. There you will meet your guide, who will take you on a private tender to the new port of Athinios, where you will meet your touring coach.

Your first stop will be in the beautiful village of Oia, famous for its magnificent views of the caldera, Santorini's active volcano crater, and the surrounding islands of the Aegean Sea. Here you will have free time to stroll along the narrow cobblestone streets and enjoy picturesque shops, lovely old mansions and houses perched on the cliff’s edge.

Next on your itinerary is Pyrgos village, one of Santorini’s oldest settlements and the highest village on the island. From the comfort of your coach, you will see its spectacular views, beautiful old houses, Venetian Fortress and historic churches.

You will continue to Santorini’s summit and the most magnificent view of the caldera from the Monastery of the Prophet Elijah.

By this time you will be ready to enjoy the sumptuous 3-course Greek lunch with Santorinian wine, which awaits you in Megalochori village.

Your guide will return you to Fira, from which you will return to your ship by cable car, at your leisure.

- Wear comfortable walking shoes.
- After the tour, you will be dropped off in the town of Fira, where you can take the cable car back down to the tender boats at your leisure. Tickets to the cable car cost 5€ per person, each way.

- This trip requires a minimum of 10 people in your party. We do not match passengers to form a group.
- Maneuvering the old steep stone steps of Fira can be difficult for some people. If you prefer to avoid that challenge and return the easy way, please contact ShoreTrips and they will include a return transfer.
- If you are booking the afternoon tour, you will be served a dinner instead of lunch.
- Please note that the Sunday Supplement also applies to the following Public Holidays in 2015: February 23, March 25; April 10, 12, 13; May 1; June 1; August 15; October 28; and December 25 and 26.
- Supplement is per group and not per person.
