Pick up at your Santiago hotel or airport; drop off at ship. On this tour you will see/visit: • Downtown Santiago • La Moneda • Constitution Square • Main post office • Museo Historico Nacional • San Cristóbal Hill Your tour begins in Santiago where you will travel to the historical center to see the Presidential Palace "La Moneda" and Constitution Square. You will also see the Ex-National Congress building and the Justice Tribunal buildings en route to the impressive Plaza de Armas (Main Square). Here, we find the Municipal Cathedral, Ex-Governor's Palace, Main Post Office and National Historic Museum (without entering Museum). From here, you'll travel to one of the world's largest urban parks: San Cristobal Hill. This lush park encompasses 540 acres and includes a zoo, cable car system, International gardens and restaurants. From the top you are rewarded with spectacular 360 degree panoramic views of the city and the surrounding snow-capped Andes mountains. Crowning the hilltop are beautiful tiered gardens and an impressive statue of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception that stands upon pedestal and can be seen from most points of the city. • Admissions not included. • Lunch, beverages, gratuities not included. • We recommend that guests wear comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat. • Please note Museo Historico Nacional is closed on Mondays, although we do an exterior visit.
