Overview

Raiatea, nicknamed "The Sacred Island" and once at the heart of ancient Polynesia, has recently become a new treasure for visitors who seek the most serene, secluded islands of French Polynesia.

Hawaiki Nui Hotel offers quality accommodation, with a range of Polynesian inspired rooms and bungalows to choose from. From Garden Rooms, to Overwater Bungalows, there is something for everyone at our Raiatea island resort.

Raiatea is one of the Leeward Islands of the Society Archipelago. White sand beaches on the surrounding Motu frame the island's turquoise lagoon, lush vegetation, towering mountains, jasmine plantation and the largest archeological site in Eastern Polynesia, Taputapuatea. Snorkelling and diving are just some of the many activities on offer on Raiatea.

The Hawaiki Nui Hotel, Raiatea, is nestled lagoon-side on Tepua Bay, offering bungalow accommodation over the water. You will love the great location of our Raiatea hotel, just 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the ferry terminal at Uturoa.

A true Polynesian paradise, Raiatea is regarded as the birthplace of the Polynesian gods, and continues to foster a community of strong cultural pride and warm hospitality.

Hawaiki Nui Hotel is the perfect place for wreck divers. The "Nordby" ship is located in the ocean in front of the overwater bungalows, about 30 meters below the surface.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.
