OverviewA private transfer to the Eternal City, followed by time to spend however you choose. You will be picked up from the cruise ship pier by your English-speaking driver and private vehicle. Comfortably ride the hour and 15 minutes to Rome, where your English-speaking driver will be at your disposal for eight whole hours. Your itinerary choices are your own. Stop and start as you like or use your driver for his knowledge of the area, which he knows well. If you are interested in seeing something particular or dining at a specific restaurant, please let us know and we will make those arrangements for you. Following the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel. - This tour is with a private vehicle and great English-speaking driver. - The price of this tour includes a private vehicle and driver for the day. It does not include any admissions, food, beverages, or gratuities. - The per person entrance fees of 14€ for the Colosseum/Palatine Hill are not included in the price of this tour. - A strict dress code is enforced in St. Peter's Basilica, so please do not wear shorts, tank tops, or revealing clothing. You may be asked to check large bags, backpacks, and video cameras. - For transfers between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., please contact ShoreTrips for pricing. - Please note that on the first Sunday of each month many tourist sites in Italy have free admission. This can often result in long lines. If you are staying at a hotel, it may be beneficial to avoid booking a tour involving inside visits to major attractions on these days.
