Bodrum Farmers Market And Hands-On Cooking ClassExplore > Turkey > Bodrum > Bodrum Farmers Market And Hands-On Cooking ClassOverviewGet to know Turkey through its farmers markets and food. We will drive to the farmers’ market to shop for your lunch ingredients, which will be comprised of three cold starters, one warm entrée, and a main course. At the market, you will encounter local food purveyors who offer all manner of self-harvested olives, wild seasonal greens, and vegetables, as well as homemade noodles, jams, pickles, breads, and a delicious array of cheeses. From the market, we will drive to Karaova affectionately known as the "Tuscany of Bodrum", where small farmers and vineyards supply fresh produce to food lovers. In our kitchen, we will guide you through the delicious secrets of regional Aegean cooking with its accent on olive oil and fresh herbs, a very special and particularly healthy branch of Turkish cuisine. You will be invited to watch the cooking sessions while sipping a glass of wine, or join in for a hands-on experience if you prefer. Either way, we guarantee you will be entertained and, with the help of the written recipes that will be provided for you, be able to recreate this abundant feast back at home. We move outdoors to enjoy all the wonderful dishes we have prepared at tables that look out at the Aegean, the most mythological of all seas. Following this wonderful repast, we will drive you back to your ship or hotel. - Minimum age to participate is 11 years old. - This is not a private tour.
