Review:   Recommended for: Honeymoons and Romantic Celebrations!

Pros: The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is one of the few resorts that sits directly on the Waikiki Beach. They offer excellent rates and packages that include breakfast. Their rooms offer direct ocean front views of the ocean. They feature one the best local restaurants, The Shorebird where you can pick out your selection (beef, chicken and fish) and cook your entree on the large grill just steps away from the ocean's edge! At night the restaurant turns into an electric atmosphere with music and Karaoke! They also have a late night beach bar with daily specials. The Outrigger Reef on the beach is one of the best places to watch the Aloha Friday's Fireworks display!

Cons: None.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Great find. Priced right. On beach and boardwalk. On calm days snorkel in the coral in front and see fish, cucumbers, etc. For a rock free time go left to the catamaran launch but with water shoes no problem at this hotel. Go to beach from hotel and turn right. Best steak and chicken plate I've ever had at fraction of the price - cash only. What a great value!! Even a rock pier to go out on and catch sunrise and sunset. Grab breakfast at little place at the corner of the beach and hotel cheap comparatively.

Review:   We had a great stay at the hotel. I was traveling for business and was able to bring my wife on this trip. Since I would be gone during the day this was a great location for her to be able to be right on the beach. The rooms were modern and clean. We had a city view room. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

Review:   This is a very nice hotel. Large sized rooms offer plenty of space. Comfy beds. Decently decorated. Located steps away from the beach, this is an amazing place to stay when visiting Hawaii. Plenty of restaurants and shops in close proximity to the hotel, so there is always something to do when staying at the Outrigger!! A few downfalls would be the view from a good majority of the rooms do not offer a great view of the beach. You can see the beach, but not a great view.

Review:   Lovely hotel. Staff are amazing, they are very polite and kind. Our room was big and comfortable, no issues. The food at the restaurant was adequate and not cheap. Stayed here for a few nights with a family of four and it was really nice. I'd recommend this hotel for families & couples.

Review:   If you come to the dole plantation you'll have a great experience. And if you love pineapples you'll be in heaven! Dole plantation has some of the sweetest pineapples. They literally have everything pineapple. EVERYTHING! from candies, soap, ice creams and more. I did he train ride and it was pretty nice. But don't expect much! It's just fields of things they grow. The garden I could have skipped but if you love Hawaiian plants you'll love the garden. I skipped the maze. Overall it was a great experience and a check off my bucket list!
