Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Awesome large rooms, great panoramic oceanview from the Ocean View room. Amenities are provided and cover the essentials. Make sure to check check-in time so you don't have to wait. Reception staff is friendly. The only thing was there was a wait for help with the luggage and the resort fee is not covered in the general booking. Amazing location, trolleys right outside to everywhere

Review:   This place seemed to fit great with teens to young 20 somethings. Party and loud atmosphere. This was right across from the beach and recently painted. Somewhat secure guest floors since a key was required to call the floor and did not just stop on random floors. The pool was extremely loud but thankfully it closed early. The proximity to the beach meant foot traffic to the 1st floor out door lobby and the pool deck was high. The room was not cleaned properly. There was a contact lens stuck to the wall in the bathroom wall. There were a few upgrades to the rooms but not everything was done. You could see the dirt outline from the large vent and the new one was 90% smaller.

Review:   ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! This hotel made my wife’s and mine honeymoon! The room was very clean very comfortable bed and a STUNNING view. Staff was very very friendly and always made sure there was nothing else they could do for you. The balcony’s are pretty close together even on the 25th floor or ocean front but Hawaii has a way of making everyone friendly so if anything you get to meet someone new. I would recommend this hotel 10 times over very very good.

Review:   It's okay. There's a consistent smell of the beach in the rooms. I know the hotel is across the street from the beach, but it'd be nice if there was like a fresh scent once you entered the room. Bathrooms seem like they need some renovation, but everything seems good for the price since Aston's prices are lower than everywhere else.
