About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Nice, but doesn't have the luxurious atmosphere or prime location to the center of Waikiki that other hotels have. It does have a wonderful across the street location to the beach. The hotel is one of the more affordable hotels in the area. Would stay again (and have)

Review:   Location is absolutely fantastic! Right across from the beach and close enough to the major Waikiki shopping area. The rooms don't all face the beach, though, so be aware. The rooms are nice and clean, if a bit dated. Staff is friendly and helpful. All in all, a get nice stay.

Review:   Best distance from the beach in the area. We had the best views and the nicest service. We appreciate the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. Our balcony was a side view of the beach front. And from the front door, we had the view of the Diamond Back and the zoo. So we saw flamingos daily. Absolutely outstanding.

Review:   My husband & I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary. This trip was truly like a 2nd honeymoon. Hawaii itself is very romantic & this hotel made our stay even more romantic. Hotel is right across the street from the beach. Rooms are very cozy & romantic with there own balcony over looking the ocean & the town. We loved that every where we needed to go was with in walking distance. They have a restaurant on site & another at the front of the hotel. There are also many other restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly & helpful. We left something in our room after checking out & they were more than happy to escort us back to the room so we could look for the item we left. They only thing I would change about this hotel is I would add a hot tub. My husband & I both love soaking in a hot tub & this hotel didn’t have one. However they do have a pool but it’s just not the same.

Review:   It will do. Nothing fancy. No hot tub. One if the few places that offers free breakfast, but not worth the extra money. It's a freaking mad house. The layout needs to be more intuitive for the foreigners that visit. Otherwise it's just unorganized.
