If you're looking for a regal retreat that gives you two vacations in one: a sophisticated European resort that is steeped in history, and the adventure of an exotic offshore island that includes every amenity imaginable, Sandals Royal Bahamian is for you.

Home to Nassau's most coveted beaches, as well as the exclusive cottage-style suites of The Royal Village, this is considered the Caribbean's most elegant resort including the ultimate 'royal treatment' - chauffeured Rolls Royce airport transportation for guests in top-tier suites.

Imagine a sanctuary so alluring the Duke and Duchess of Windsor made it their epicenter for high society as the famed Balmoral Club of the 1940s. Today, transformed into the Sandals Royal Bahamian, it remains an oasis of European grandeur where guests are still treated as royals. Voted "Top Spa Resort" by readers of Conde Nast Traveler, Sandals Royal Bahamian is considered to be the most elegant resort in the Bahamas. Seductive alabaster sand beaches and crystalline waters embrace tropical gardens and opulent suites—some the size of private villas—complete with every imaginable amenity, even your own butler.

Authentic Bahamian architecture embodies the warmth of the islands, while the secluded Royal Village exudes an aura of peace, serenity, and ultra privacy. Top-tier suite guests make an imperial entrance from their chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce—our compliments. And only Sandals gives you two vacations in one: Included is an exotic escape to Sandals' romantic offshore Island just minutes away with two secluded coastlines, a chic beach club, signature pool with swim-up bar, the exquisite Red Lane Spa*, and the region's best seafood house. Culinary dreams come true in ten superb restaurants resort-wide. Sandals Royal Bahamian is the best of all worlds—European elegance and island romance all wrapped up in one unforgettable vacation.

Review:   Recommended for: couples

Pros: This is a highly recommended all-inclusive in Nassau. My favorite suites are swim up suites, where you can step out of your room into your own private lounge chairs and access to a pool.

Cons: None.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   Nice place to relax. The Sandals Royal Bahamian is a bit dated, but clean. The weather in February was 82 and sunny. Food venues are varied and tasty. Two pools and private beaches surround the resort and it's half of discovery island. All inclusive? Only for food and drinks. If you want to do anything extra it is extra and not cheap. But it's a very relaxing place to spend a few days. The staff is amazing and very friendly.

Review:   Sandals was an amazing experience. The Nassau location was especially fun because they have a private island off the shore. The island had many fun items as well as many private little spots to hang out. They also had these little cute beach crabs on the island as well. There was excellent food and the staff is incredible. The views from the rooms were all excellent.

Review:   Loved my stay here this past week! Already booked another trip for next winter. The management and staff are so helpful and sweet, Sandals is really unlike any other place. Food is lovely, property is well kept, and there are plenty of activities and entertainment. Favorite part is the off shore island.....beautiful!!!!

Review:   Butler service for the ultimate reward. This was our first Sandals visit, certainly won't be our last. The quiet pool was relaxing and suited my wife and I quite nicely. The room was wonderfully kept. The food was hit or almost miss, depending on the restaurant we went to. Gordons never disappointed though! Great memories, and I can't wait until the next one.

Review:   Worst Week in my Life We went here after our wedding, it was very expensive, but you are getting married, so you shell out the money to have a good time. When we first arrived it looked like someone had maybe thrown up into the pool, it was so filthy we did not swim the entire time. It never got any better. So we basically just relaxed at the beach and laid low. We paid extra to have dinner on the pier one night, it ended up being delayed by about two hours, so we tried to get into another place to eat, no go. Money out the window for a terrible dinner. Then things got bad, we both got sick from the food on day 3, and spent the next 48 hours throwing up. My wife was so weak she could not move, so they had a nurse come in and give her an injection to stop the vomiting, it worked, however the injection site became infected, but luckily we were on our way home and went right to the hospital when we landed. It was 6 days of suffering at a cost of around $1,000 per day. We will definitely never go back. On the plus side, the people working there were very genuine and worked hard, the resort itself is just garbage.
